"Memories ? you are putting too much thought Hua , i think you should go and see a doctor .

"Yeah i will." Hua Cheng replied while still somewhere deep inside him, he believed that what he saw wasn't some kind of dream.

"Hua i think you should give Xie Lian some time , let him figure out himself , maybe there is something he isn't telling anyone. " He Xuan remarked.

As much as Hua Cheng wanted to see Xie Lian , he couldn't help but acknowledge what He Xuan said was right .

"Yeah." Hua Cheng replied in a melancholic tone.

"Anyways isn't there a play in your Uni soon , it seems to be a big deal , we should go there." He Xuan asked with a slight smile on his face.

"Yeah there is , it's about a god and his most devoted believer who waited for him for 800 years, and how they overcame every hardship life threw at him , the ascension and descension of the god . " Hua Cheng said while being in awe of the story.

"Well you seem quite enthralled by it , then we should definitely see it." He Xuan said.

"What is the name of the play ?" He Xuan asked .

"Heaven official's blessing."

As a couple months went by , the distance between Hua Cheng and Xie Lian widened , Xie Lian refused to even spare a single glance to Hua Cheng yet alone meet him in person , no matter how much time Hua Cheng gave Xie Lian , he wasn't gonna return and this frustrated him.

Almost every single night , Hua Cheng's mind became fuzzy from all those weird dreams he was having , even though they gradually lessened , they still wouldn't leave his thought process. Hua Cheng envisioned a transcedent figure , who used to be always dressed in white and bandages all over him , whenever he saw this figure in his dreams , his heart couldn't help but beat faster , he wondered who was that someone , he knew he was forgetting sometime that meant to him more than life itself.

One of these days Hua Cheng knew he had enough of Xie Lian , he drove his car to Xie Lian's house , not having a care in the world .

As Hua Cheng reached his house , he could enter quite easily , because the staff was quite aware of him because Xie Lian brought him home quite often.

"XIE LIAN!!!"

"XIE LIAN!!!!" Hua Cheng yelled.

Hearing the constant screeches of someone , Xie Lian headed downstairs when he saw Hua Cheng he remained still .

As soon as Hua Cheng saw Xie Lian , he rushed to him held his hand and pinned him to the wall.

"What's your problem ?" Hua Cheng asked in a high pitch.

"I told you let's not meet again . What part of that you didn't understand Hua Cheng." Xie Lian replied in a cold tone.

Hua Cheng's eyes widened at hearing his name being spoken by the other male in such a cold tone , he tightened his grip on his hands.

" Would you tell me what the fuck is wrong with you ? " Hua Cheng replied.

"What is wrong with me ? I just don't want to be associated with you anymore , is that too much to ask Mr. Cheng ?" Xie Lian said as he broke away from the grip of the other male.

As Xie Lian slowly moved back to his own room he remarked,

"Hua Cheng it's better you go back , there is no point in doing this." Xie Lian said as his words pierced Hua Cheng's heart.

" I love you ." Hua Cheng said.

Xie Lian's eyes widened , a cold sweat appeared on his face , he stopped on his tracks , he began to tremble , this was the last thing he wanted to hear from the other male.

"And you love me too." Hua Cheng acclaimed.

" I don't ." Xie Lian replied .

Hua Cheng went closer to him , held his hands and once again tightened his grip on him.

"Then look in my eyes and tell me that."

Xie Lian knew how much he loved his San Lang , the male in front of him had the same face as his beloved , there is no way he could say that while looking his eyes , it was too painful , he couldn't lie once again , but he knew he had to because this was not his San Lang.

"Hua Cheng i don't love you. " Xie Lian replied in a cold tone as he stared right in Hua Cheng's bloodshot eyes.

Hua Cheng eventually loosened his grip , he saw the truth in Xie Lian's eyes, he knew there is nothing he could do anymore , he turned his back on him as tears fell from his eyes.

As Hua Cheng parted away from Xie Lian , Xie Lian fell to the ground , he was a mess , he didn't know what to do anymore , he was in constant agony.

"This is the parting San Lang."

As Xie Lian calmed down , he dialed a call to his father who was out for a surgery in another state.

"Hi dad , i hope I am not disturbing." Xie Lian said in a soft tone.

"Hi Xie , no , not at all , i just got finished with surgery." Mr. Lian replied.

"Dad , can you please do me a favor , and please don't ask why I am asking this of you." Xie Lian

"What is it lian ? "

"Dad , i want to study abroad." Xie Lian replied.

"Why all of a sudden , didn't you say earlier that you didn't want to ?" Mr. Lian inquired.

"Yes before I did , but now i want to . " Xie Lian replied.

"All right , let me make the necessary arrangements, then we can send you off next month."

"No , i want to leave by tomorrow." Xie Lian replied instantly.

"TOMORROW?" Mr Lian asked.

"Yes , please Dad , i'm desperately asking you for this favor." Xie Lian said in a melancholic tone.

"Okay , let me head back home by tomorrow morning and let's send you off." Mr. Lian replied.

"Thank you dad." Xie Lian said expressing his gratitude.

"Okay then , ill speak with you later."

"Of course ." Xie Lian said as his dad hung up .

Xie Lian knew this was the only way he could escape from ever having to face Hua Cheng.
