Namaari was dumbstruck after reading that. She didn't even believe what she just read. It was all so sudden and completely unexpected. She took a deep breath and said, "Raya will be pissed! She's only begun to accept Dalia and now...she's pregnant! How could Chief Benja do this to her?"
"Raya begun to accept her? What do you mean?" asked Virana.
"When Raya figured that they were dating, it made her so depressed and sad...And now Dalia is pregnant?!" exclaimed Namaari.
"When she gets settled in, I can give it to her. Let her feel relaxed and comfortable in this new environment first." said Virana.
"Okay Mother. I will." replied Namaari before going to help Raya with her stuff.
Namaari was delighted to have Raya staying in her room with her but she was still surprised by the fact that Dalia was pregnant.
"You look a little uneasy dep la, everything okay?" Asked Raya.
"Um...Yeah I am. Just drifted off into my thoughts, I'm alright." replied Namaari.
"Alright. Um I need to tell you something though Namaari." Said Raya.
"Okay, go ahead."
"Not out here...your servants are all around and...it's kind of personal." said Raya softly.
"Oh? Alright. Let's go to my room."
After entering the room, Namaari closed the door and said, "Make yourself at home, princess."
"I will, in here is so beautiful! It has this royal, magical feel to it dep la."
"Thanks Raya. I'm glad you love this atmosphere. So, what you wanna tell me?"
"So...um...I think you might have figured but...I started to feel so in love with you." said Raya while blushing and fidgeting with her hair.
Namaari wasn't very surprised since she noticed how much Raya blushed when they were around each other. She held one of Raya's hands and said, "I understand dep la, and I feel somewhat of the same way about you...but I-I'm not sure if we should...be together."
"Why?" asked Raya.
"Raya, I do feel this romantic connection with you but what if...I hurt you...again." replied Namaari shakily as a wave of guilt struck her.
"You won't dep la." replied Raya.
"You don't know that...And I don't either. I am just...afraid because Raya, you deserve the world. Not a binturi..."
"Namaari, no one else can make me feel as you do. I never thought it was possible to even be your friend before we fixed the world. But...I feel more than a friendship from you. And you made amends. You portray yourself as such a noble warrior princess that doesn't succumb to emotions. But I saw the vulnerable side of you, the emotional side, the very sweet and kind side." said Raya, tears beginning to fill her eyes.
"I only want you Namaari." she added as a tear fell from her eye.
Seeing Raya cry only made Namaari more affectionate towards her. She sighed and cupped her cheek. "Don't cry dep la, please...If I should become ready to date, it will be to date you."
Raya smiled slightly through her tears and said, "Okay..."
Namaari gave her a hug then remembered about the letter that she had from Heart. "Oh and um...I should give you something...from Heart."
Raya got intrigued and said, "OHH! What is it?"
"Stay here, I'll get it for you. And...I honestly don't know how you'll feel about it." Said Namaari.
"Okay...I-I'll wait."
Namaari went to her mother to retrieve the letter and returned to Raya. As Raya read the letter, she looked more and more dumbstruck.
"WHAT!" she shouted.
She was completely shocked and couldn't immediately say anything else. After a while, she shook her head and said, "Am I dreaming?!"
Namaari nodded no and said, "I was as shocked as you are dep la."
"I- I'll be a...sister? no no no...You mean to tell me that my father had...intercourse with Dalia??? This is MADNESS! I need to go back home! How dare they send me away then send me such news! No wonder my Ba suggested that I leave from today! I need to get home!" yelled Raya.
"Hey, hey, princess, calm down...please." Said Namaari, holding Raya's hands.
"Namaari...you don't understand! Why am I even getting this from a piece of letter? Why couldn't they both sit with me and explain this! On top of that, I'm all the way here in Fang!"
"I do understand dep la, but don't just run off, you'll find out everything in due time. I know you're shocked because I am too. But I think the reason he wanted you to know when you're away from the palace is because...they might feared you having a tantrum like this and they wouldn't know how to tell you."
"Namaari..."
Raya broke down in tears. She felt so burdened. Just when it seemed as though things were getting better, they're only getting worse. Namaari hugged her tightly, allowing her to grieve. She sat with her on her bed and said, "I'm here for you dep la. I know it hurts incredibly."
"I j-just wish things were...different."
Namaari thought for a moment and said, "Well, there is something that's different."
"And what's that?" Asked Raya.
"You and I."
Namaari's words made Raya blush and the princesses stared in each other's eyes with pure love before slowly leaning in. Raya felt her heart beating abnormally and a shiver ran down her body. Her stomach felt as though it plummeted to the sole of her feet. It's really happening! Their lips were about to slowly connect but... shyness caused Namaari to only kiss Raya's cheek.
Raya blushed immensely and said, "I liked that..."
"I knew you would dep la. I'm always here for you." replied Namaari.
Raya then sighed and said, "How do I go about accepting this...and to think that now I'll be a sister...or stepsister I guess."
"I know it's hard to digest, but despite all this, I know you're going to be an absolutely amazing big sister." Said Namaari.
"I wish that I could believe that Namaari. But I just can't." replied Raya.
"I understand. I know what you need to help to clear your mind. Come with me."
