Part 26 - Selamat Ulang Tahun Raya!

Raya's room was beautifully decorated with a big "Selamat Ulang Tahun Raya!" poster above her bed which translates to 'Happy Birthday Raya!' She had a whole lot of gifts to one side and that was when she registered that it was indeed her 19th birthday. The negative feeling inside her immediately morphed to shock and Chief Benja entered and said, "Happy birthday my beautiful dewdrop."

He pulled his daughter into a hug and Raya grinned and expressed, "Thank you Ba, I was- I was so caught up with everything that I didn't even remember my own birthday."

"I figured and used that as an advantage to surprise you. I hope you like this." replied the chief.

"Like it? I absolutely LOVE it! Thank you!" exclaimed Raya.

"There's a specific surprise awaiting you. It's the biggest gift."

Raya went over to the gift box and when she opened it, she was floored to see her girlfriend. 

"Surprise! Happy Birthday dep la." exclaimed Namaari as she got up.

Raya immediately burst into emotions and embraced Namaari. Chief Benja was in awe at the loving sight before him and Dalia joined not long afterwards. 

"I missed you so much! And I was so worried."

"I know baby, I didn't want to just leave you back at Fang but I really wanted to surprise you." said Namaari softly. 

After she and Raya loosened from their embrace, Namaari got something from her pocket without Raya noticing and took a glance at Chief Benja and Dalia who both smiled and gave a single nod. After taking a deep breath, she held one of Raya's hand and said, "Princess, I know how much you love me and you know how much I do. Our bond is stronger than ever and I promise you that we'll have a wonderful future together in Kumandra. And I hope that one day soon, you will be my wife, here's my promise ring that indicates how devoted I am to you."

Raya's eyes widened in amazement when she saw Namaari getting ready to place the ring on her finger and tears rushed to her eyes. It was a beautiful promise ring made of very reflective gold and a beautiful topaz gemstone.

"Happy birthday beautiful." whispered Namaari.

"Thank you, I- I love you so much Namaari!" exclaimed Raya.

They embraced and even with the leaders of Heart in their presence, Namaari lifted Raya's chin and connected their lips. 

"Awww! So sweettt!" exclaimed Dalia.

"Very!" said Chief Benja in agreement "Although I do think they might need some privacy."

"Agreed."

Dalia went up to them and said, "We'll let you enjoy your moment and spend the day together however you desire."

"Okay, thank you Madam Dalia." replied Namaari with a smile.

Dalia and Benja left and closed the door and Namaari kissed Raya even more passionately.

"Since you obviously didn't remember your birthday, I planned that we could go on a date tonight. Would you like that?"

"I'd love it!" exclaimed Raya.

"Wonderful! So for now, what would you like to do?"

"I-I'm not actually sure but I think a walk would be great."

"Alright, then to the woods we go!"

They went out to the front of the palace and Sisu was there in her human form awaiting Raya. As soon as she saw her, she dragged her into a hug and exclaimed, "HAPPYYYYYY BIRTHDAYYYYYY RAYAAA!"
