Chapter 5: Reunion

Alex POV

Felix and I ran through the streets, dodging Tina's arrows  and her sight. After she lost sight of us, we stopped in an alleyway to catch our breathe.

"What, pardon my French, the hell was that!?" Felix panted.

"My girlfriend. It's either she's being brainwashed by Hawkmoth or that's a sentimonster." I replied as I  peeked over the wall to see if Tina hasn't caught up with us.

"Now what?" Felix asked as he wiped his brow.

"Now we-." I stopped and saw Tina with a napalm arrow, notched in her bow and smirking.

"DODGE!" I shouted. As Tina released the napalm arrow, I tackled Felix out of the way. The explosion pushed us out of the alleyway. I groaned as I got to my feet and patted the flames off the sleeves of my trench coat.

"Felix, you ok?" I called out.

"Yes. I'm alright." He replied as he struggled to get up to his feet. Tina landed behind him.

"Look out!" I shouted. Felix turned around, only to get wacked in his tempus by Tina's bow. He fell to the ground unconscious.

"You're not Tina, are you?" I asked as I pulled out my kali sticks.

"Aren't you perspective?" She taunted as she drew her sword and darted towards me. I quickly blocked her blade with my kali sticks and pushed her back. As we fought, our weapons clashed  against each other. "Tina" thrusted her sword at me, I stepped to the side and swung my kali stick at her head. She smirked and ducked, sweeping me of my feet. I landed on my back. She pointed her sword at my throat.

"Hawkmoth wants me to bring you in alive. But he didn't say anything about you being unscathed." "Tina" chuckled and slashed her sword all over my skin, missing the arteries.

Just as he was about to plunge her sword into my knee, an arrow out of nowhere knocked the sword out of her hand. We looked up and saw a girl in a  black hooded t shirt, dark blue trench coat, navy blue jeans and dark blue boots standing on the roof with another arrow notched in her bow. It only took me a second to recognise the girl.

"T?" I called out. The girl fired another arrow at "Tina". She parried the arrow with her bow,  picked up her sword and ran.

The girl slid down the drainpipe and walked towards me. Just as I was getting ready to fight, she hugged me tightly. I returned the hug.

"I've missed you." I said.

"I've missed you too, mon loup." Tina said.

Felix regained consciousness and looked at us.

"It's the girl who attacked us!" He exclaimed and tried to punch her. I caught his fist.

"Guess I was right. The other "Tina" was a sentimonster." I said. I turned to look at Tina.  

"What happened to you while I was absent?" I asked.

Tina pulled up her t-shirt and revealed cuts and bruises on her torso. Felix and I gasped in astonishment.

"They tortured me for weeks. I barely had any strength left to fight back. But then, I had some help to escape from my prison." Tina said.

"Who helped you?" Felix asked. 

"We did." A voice behind us replied. We turned around and saw Ivan and Mylène.

"Ivan. Mylène. You guys are ok."  I said with a smile.

"Consider it as a thank you for all you've done for Paris." Mylène replied.

"Alright, it's time to save our friends and bring the fight to Hawkmoth's regime." I said.

"We don't have a miraculous to help fight back." Ivan said.

"Now you do." I said and tossed a bull nose ring at him. The kwami Stompp floated next to him. He caught it and raised an eyebrow.

"Am I dreaming or am I seeing a flying cow?" He asked me.

"Ox, actually. The name is Stompp by the way." The Ox Kwami said. 

"I'd tell you more, but-." I said.

Large footsteps interrupted our conversation. We turned and saw a large golem made out of rocks roaring at us.

"Isn't that you?" I asked.

"But I'm here." Ivan replied.

"I'm guessing it's a sentimonster."  Mylène said as she hid behind Ivan.

The rock golem picked up a car and threw it at us.  We dodged and hid behind another car.

"Time for you to transform, Ivan. ASAP!" I said urgantly.

"So do I put this on my nose or-." Ivan asked.

"Ivan, not the time." Mylène said fearfully.

"Ok. Here goes." Ivan sighed and put on the nose ring. 

"Just say, Stompp, let's charge". Stompp said.

"Stompp, let's charge!" Ivan shouted. His attire changed into a thick dark blue ox jumpsuit with black boots. His mask is shaped like an ox only leaving his mouth nose revealed.

"Cool!" Mylène gushed. Ivan blushed.

"Hey, guys. We got company." Tina said as a group of soldiers ran towards us.

"Felix, take Mylène and hide. We'll handle this." I said.

Felix nodded and lead Mylène, who kissed Ivan good luck,  away from the fight.

"I'll deal with Stone Heart. You deal with the soldiers." Ivan said.

"Someone's confident. Don't let it get to your head." I chuckled.

"One thing. Isn't it the Guardian's job to give miraculous to people?" Ivan asked.

"We'll cross that bridge later. Right now, it's fight time." I replied.

"Alright. Look out villains, here comes Minotaurox!" Ivan shouted as he ran towards Stoneheart.

"Minotaurox?" Tina asked.

"Let him have his fun. Also, Marinette is gonna kill me for this." I said.

"We'll cross that bridge later, Al." Tina said with a smirk and kissed my cheek before joining the fight.

I smiled and followed her.
