Le Loup: Rise of Hawkmoth part 3

Chapter 22: Heroes vs Mayura and the akumas. Hawkmoth shows his true power.

Alex POV

After taking down the guards and freeing the prisoners, we finally arrived at Hawkmoth's castle. Luka, Zoe and Felix said that they will deal with the mercenaries along with Shaun and Myra.  As we entered, Mayura appeared in front of us along with Spade King, Silver Fang, Chloe as Queen Wasp and Lila as Volpina.

"Why are you doing this, Nathalie? I thought you never wanted anything to do with Hawkmoth. You said so yourself." I asked. 

Mayura shook her head.

"You don't understand. If we do this, I can undo all the terrible things I've done." She replied.

"Well, mostly because we just don't like you. If you never came into our lives, none of this would've happen." Lila said, pointing at us with a scowl.

I said nothing, but contemplated on her words. If I never became Le Loup, would my godfather and Master Fu would still live? If the miraculous never existed, Hawkmoth and the rest wouldn't have come into our lives.

"No. If Alex never became Le Loup, we wouldn't be able to take down the Spade Clan." Marinette said.

"Or rescue those who have been captured by The Spade King." Adrien added.

"Or defeat Hawkmoth." Alya added.

"Or Shadow Spade. Hell, even the House of Owls." Nino added.

"If anything, Le Loup has inspired us to become a hero with out superpowers." Tina said, holding my hand.

"And to stand up against all kinds of injustice. Even if it costs us our lives." Rodrigo included.

I nodded and glared at our opponents.

"From the day I took up my late father's mantle, I made myself a target for criminals. Sure, there are times I regret it. But I know that it'll be worth it in the end." I said.

Chloe scoffed at my speech.

"You are so predictable. Soon, you will be the last person who will become Le Loup."

I shook my head.

"You're right. We may die later on. But the mantle lives on." I replied.

Silver Fang clapped his hands.

"Quite the speech, Alex. Too bad it'll be your last. You all can have his friends. Le Loup is mine."

As Mayura, Spade King, Chloe and Lila darted towards Marinette and the others, I stood to face Silver Fang. We drew our eskrimas and got into our stances.

"It's time to finish this." He said.

"Yeah. This is payback time for torturing my girl." I growled.

We darted towards each other and clashed our weapons.

Adrien POV

I dodged an attack from Spade King and kicked him in the head. Lila struck her staff at me. I blocked her and swiped my staff at her. She backflipped out of the way and landed on her feet.

"You'll pay for brainwashing and raping me, Lie-la!" I shouted as we traded blows. 

Lila smirked.

"You loved it. And it was your first as well." With that, she wacked her staff at my head, knocking me to the ground. I tried to reach for my staff, but Lila kicked it away from me.

"A shame it'll be your last." She said and raised her staff above my head. Before she could finish me off, Marinette wrapped the chain whip around her neck, choking her out.
