Marinette POV

It's been 5 weeks ever since we defeated Hawkmoth and his army. Nathalie was sentenced to prison for a month, mostly due to Alex's plea. Adrien's bodyguard left France and was never heard from again. All the mercenaries who aided Hawkmoth have either left the country or are arrested.

We arranged a funeral for those who have been killed by Hawkmoth, including Master Su-Han. Alex had been rather distant from us ever since Su-Han's death. Not that I could blame him. Another person close to him died right in front of him.

After all, we need time to heal.

Alex POV

I decided to take some time of from vigilantism and focus more on my studies. I even caught up with my part time job, albeit it caused my boss to dock my pay again. The same could be said for The French Miraculous  Superhero Team. Although, not forever. Just for a few months.

After school, I went to visit the graveyard. I placed lilies on my parent's grave, Master Fu's grave,  Su-Han's grave and on Joseph's grave. My parent's grave was moved to Paris at The Mayor's request, thanks to Zoe.

"Hey, guys. It's been a while." I said to their tombstones.

The wind blew against my coat. I shivered from the cold.

"Paris is at peace. For now that is. I decided to take some time of from vigilantism. Just needed some time to heal after what happened 5 weeks ago. Thank you for helping me become the person I am now. And you will never be forgotten."

I hear footsteps behind me. I looked and saw Tina wearing black jean, grey fur boots, a black t-shirt and a nay blue winter coat. Her blonde hair was tucked away in a black beanie. She walked towards me and placed roses on the gravestones of her parents and on the gravestones of my parents, Master Su-Han,  Master Fu and Joseph. She held my hand.

"Are you going to be ok, Al?" Tina asked me.

"No. But I will be soon enough." I sighed and turned to face her. She rest her head on my chest. I responded by wrapping my arms around her waist.

As Marinette said before I decided to go on temporary retirement from being Le Loup.

Time may heal wounds. But the scar will always remain.

All we have to do is move on from the past and face the future.
