Alya POV
The mercenaries barged their way through the crowd as they tried to apprehend us. While Alex's and the others fought them off, I went to go and find my family.
After fighting my way through some of the mercenaries, I found them held at gun point by two burly mercenaries.
"Drop the dusters, or they die." He said.
"Don't do it, Sis!" Nora screamed.
"Shut it! Do as we say or we-!" The leader was interrupted by Nino, who struck his tonfa at the back of his head, knocking him out.
"Alya!" Nino shouted. I nodded and darted forward. I punched one mercenary in the throat, stunning him and threw him over my shoulder. Before he could recover, I kicked him in the face, knocking him out. The second mercenary pointed his gun at me. Before he could fire, Nino struck his tonfa in his back, allowing me to run and jump kick him in the face. As he fell to the ground, I helped up my family.
"How did you learn to fight like that?" Nora asked.
"I've been practicing. Get our parents and the twins some place safe. We'll handle things from here." I said.
"Thank you and good luck, Alya!" My mum called out as Nora lead them away.
"Think they'll be ok?" Nino asked.
"I hope so. Right now, we need to help everyone." I said. Nino nodded and followed me towards the mercenaries.
After taking down the mercenaries and freeing the civilians, Nino and I met up with the others.
"Ok, that's everyone. Now let's go and get Hawkmoth." Alex said.
"Speaking of which, he's gone back to his castle." Tina said as she wiped her brow.
"Before we go, I need to you to promise you will relinquish your miraculous." The old man, Su-Han said.
"What!?" Nino and I gasped.
"Now hold on an damn minute! Without Ladybug and others who's going to defend Paris?" Tina asked.
"I will find another holder for them. Now promise me you-." Su-Han said.
"No way!" Nino shouted.
"Nino..." Marinette said.
"I get it. We messed up. We allowed Hawkmoth to get our miraculous . We doomed Paris, hell thee whole world. But if we give up our miraculous, we won't be able to defend the world. I don't know about you guys but I'd rather not give up my miraculous just yet." Nino announced.
"Same here. When I first saw superheroes, I thought about being one. Now, I don't want to stop protecting people. Even my family." I added.
Alex placed a hand on Su-Han's shoulder.
"I know why you want to them to relinquish their miraculous. They are too young and inexperienced. But they've been risking their lives for others without a second thought. Please, Master Su-Han." He said.
The old man sighed.
"Fine. But I will help you become better miraculous holders. And I will help Marinette become a better guardian." He said.
"Thank you, sir!" Marinette exclaimed. The others nodded in agreement.
"Now that's out, let's bag ourselves a supervillain." Alex said.
We nodded in agreement and made our way to Hawkmoth's castle.
