"Pardon the intrusion." Tsukishima announced as Akane led him inside the house. True enough, Keishin was available to watch over the store as he was bound to do external works at night shift. Then they settled into the living room- because Keishin would rather give up his hairband than allow them two in Akane's bedroom. The books and notebooks stacked up neatly beside them as an awkward atmosphere started to envelope them.

Keishin popped his head in, "Now, I don't know what kinda Math you two would be studying, but I guess you'll be needing to open up your notes and books..."

The two youngsters blushed and they simultaneously opened their notebooks, covering the other from viewing their shaded faces.

"W-well, now for this problem, Akane-san..." Tsukishima spoke first and pointed at his notebook. Akane turned her attention to the problem presented and listened actively to the solution.

"No, wait, can you please explain this again?"

"I just did..." Tsukishima sighed. He was never a patient person, nor was he a good tutor.

"Please?" Akane begged, she was starting to get it but application of the solution on her own just makes her lost sometime. Tsukishima started to explain the point of her confusion and was relieved when she scribbled away on her paper.

"I get it now! Is this how you do it?" Akane showed him her scratch paper with gleaming eyes. Tsukishima looked closely and nodded in approval.

"Alright! I deserve a break for that!" She pumped her fist in the air.

Tsukishima looked at her strangely, "That was just the first chapter, Akane-san..."

Akane turned gloomy at the comment and let out a sigh. They have to cover four chapters as those were the chapters that she's been having trouble with.

Continuing where they left off, Akane picked up quickly the lessons being re-taught to her. Tsukishima even found teaching her to be more relaxing than teaching the team simpletons- Kageyama and Hinata. As they ate away their time with numbers and procedures, Keishin came by again to take a peek. It was almost time for his shift so he had to make a subtle message for Akane.

He poured two glasses of juice and grabbed two packets of wafers. Then he went to the living room, "You two must be tired working hard like that. Here are your rewards for being good students."

Akane looked up from comparing her notebook and Tsukishima's, then her eyes glistened at the sight of snacks.

"Don't worry, Tsukishima. It's a treat." Keishin said. Tsukishima relaxed and grabbed a wafer to eat. He wasn't planning on buying anything so his money was just a few amount more from his fare.

Akane crawled over to the tray and enjoyed herself a packet of wafer, "We're wrapping up, uncle. You can go ahead."

"Yeah, in a while." Keishin waved a dismissive hand and left. 'Like hell I'm leaving you alone with a guy.'

Akane finished her packet of wafer and was drinking her juice when a problem caught her attention, "Hey, this formula is used for this problem right?"

Tsukishima looked at where she was pointing, "Hmm? Oh, yes that would be correct."

Akane started to ramble out the solution and Tsukishima nodded along the correct points.

"No, stop. After getting that, you need to substitute it with this. See what I did in this problem?" Tsukishima pointed at his solution. Akane leaned over to take a closer look and accidentally poured the juice over the table.

"Oh sh-" In an effort to save the notebooks, Akane hastily wiped the juice off the table. It was a bad decision to do so because now, she flicked away the liquid to Tsukishima's shirt.
