"Good morning, Akane-san! I hope you slept without nightmares last night. Take today one step at a time :) -Yams"
Smiling at the text she received, Akane rested her back against the bedframe. She did not have nightmares as bad as it usually would. Having someone else comfort her right away probably helped a lot so the event would not loom dark in her mind.
She swept her curtains aside and let sunlight pour in. She embraced herself and squeezed out yesterday's bad memory into the free space around her.
"You will no longer disturb me. You will no longer affect me. You will no longer linger over me." She chanted to herself and imagined the memory to shrink with every repeat. She feels stronger against her mind now.
She opened her eyes and felt refreshed. The day feels like a new slate for her to start painting again. The air feels more fresh and the sun seems to be proud of her as her rays remain bright yet gentle.
'Alright! One step at a time.' She thought to herself as she entered the shower.
Takeda, on the other hand, busied himself with changing the pillows and folding the blankets over. He made sure the pancake mix was ready and the juice was already ready for drinking. The hard drive with movies and the projector have been set up. His apartment was transformed to that of a children's sleepover. Keishin shared that Akane enjoyed Disney nights with her family so he thought of having one for this date. Both adults agreed since it was relaxing and more intimate.
If they are to help a child, they have to make a gentle environment.

"I won't say I'm inlove..." Akane sang along, flailing her hand dramatically. Takeda and Keishin chuckled, sharing a look
Takeda stood up and gathered the dishes they used. Akane tried to stop her teacher, "Sensei! I can do that, please."
"No, no. Stay there Akane-san. Just relax, look! Hades is out already." Takeda attempted to divert her away.
Akane pouted and faced the white screen, "I'll be washing the dishes, Uncle."
Keishin laughed and ruffled her hair, "Haha! Alright, alright, miss. Just don't get all frown-y with us haha."
Takeda came back with a bag of chips and settled beside Akane. They were all huddled inside a makeshift tent made of Takeda's blankets tied at each ends across whatever hooks in Takeda's apartment. The AC kept them cool and Akane enjoyed the fuzzy socks that Takeda gave her.
"HE'S A BOY!" Hades gritted through in the film.
"Yeah! Burn 'em boys, Mr. Hades man!" Akane pumped her fist.
"Why would you want to burn us, Akane?" Keishin asked, laughing at her antics. She's definitely came out of her shell. She caught them by surprise when she chirped energetically upon arriving.
"Look at Hercules, he keeps looking at her like she's weak. She absolutely looks capable of herself, Uncle. Duh and men who keeps this kind of heroic complex usually becomes manipulator. Bleh!" Akane ranted, scrunching her nose. It was her first time seeing Hercules.
Takeda mused silently at the two, then he smiled. "Well, what about Tsukishima? Would you want Hades to burn him, too?"
"No!" Akane abruptly replied, then reeled herself, "I mean, no? I guess he's not as bad. I mean- You know, sensei-"
"Uh-huh?" Both Keishin and Takade said, ultimately cornering her.
"Why was he even mentioned, that's just unfair. I was ranting about a fictional character then you come bring in a real person into the conversation." She mumbled as she stuffed her mouth with chips.
