Two planes landed on the same airport.
Two people going back to the same home.
Her heels clacked as his shoes skidded.
The evening sky cleared its clouds and showed the graceful new moon and the glittering dots mapped across the dark blue sky.
She stopped once she was out of the busy hallway and looked up. She smiled, remembering the promise.
He looked out at the cab's window and drew a long breath in. He remembered his promise with a smile.

"Akane!" Keishin called out and she waved at him with a wide grin on her face. She rolled her trolley over to his car and the two embraced in a long, tight hug.
She peered inside the car and saw Takeda smiling at her, a sleeping kid on his lap. She simply whispered a 'hi' as she sat down at the back.
As Keishin drove, Akane could not contain her excitement over the news.
"I can't believe they got together!" She whisper-squealed, "I mean, I know Tanaka likes Kiyoko but I never thought they would go this far! Ahh! I'm so happy for them!"
Keishin and Takeda laughed softly. It has been a while since Akane started to live independently in Singapore with her job as an event organizer. They all missed each other and Akane cannot stop herself from cooing over the kid both Keishin and Takeda adopted.
"Aww! Markle is so cute, I want to wake him up and make him cry."
Keishin and Takeda shared an alarming look before glaring at her.
"Don't you dare." They both said in warning.

"Kei-kun!" Akiteru walked out of their house and greeted his brother. After college, Tsukishima had taken his liking for dinosaurs to another level and started to work as a museum curator. He does play overseas at times, but he balances his work well.
Tsukishima entered and kissed his mama on the cheeks. He breathed in the scent of his home.
"I made your favorite curry. Come now, let's eat." Tsukishima's mother softly spoke.
Their dinner was filled of the adventures both brothers took while away from each other. A doorbell rang and interrupted their engaging talk. Akiteru went to answer the door and came back in with Yamaguchi behind him.
"Tsukki!" Yamaguchi exclaimed and hugged his bestfriend. They may have not met for a long while now, but their messages for each other kept their friendship alive.
Tsukishima broke free from the embrace and stood in shock at the person behind Yamaguchi.
"Y-Yachi?"
Yachi giggled and waved a hand. Tsukishima's eyes caught the swift glint on her finger and his grasp on Yamaguchi's shoulder tightened.
"Married?!"
Yamaguchi and Yachi shared their laughter. Tsukishima could not believe it.
"I thought you were just joking when you told you were marrying her." He muttered.
Yachi rested a hand on his arm, "It's still an engagement, Tsukishima. See?"
Tsukishima looked closely and saw where the ring was placed.
"So many of you are getting married, how about you Kei-kun?" Akiteru teased his brother, ruffling his hair.
"Akiteru!" Their mother swatted Akiteru's head with a spoon. He winced and rubbed his head, apologizing to Tsukishima.
"Well, anyway Yamaguchi, fancy some curry for dinner? I have enough for all of us." She smiled at the couple.
Yamaguchi smiled and took Yachi's hand to guide her to a seat.
"You always make enough, Mrs. Tsukishima."

The next morning, Akane had volunteered to babysit which was mainly because she wanted to solo her cousin.
"Markle? What have you got there?" She asked the toddler.
He was holding on to something behind his back and when Akane took a step towards him, he broke out in a fit of laughter and ran as fast as his chubby feet can.
Meanwhile, Tsukishima sat at the driver's seat and drew out a long breath. He hates shopping with someone and apparently, Yamaguchi needs his help in picking out clothes too.
"Yamaguchi, you're about to have a family. You must learn how to pick out your own clothes."
Yamaguchi looked at him with pleading eyes, "I-I know, Tsukki! I just... missed talking with you."
Tsukishima gave him a side glance, "And Yachi-san came up with this marvelous idea so we can spend time together?"
Yamaguchi's tomato face was the answer Tsukishima needed. Though he never said it out loud, Tsukishima missed the comfort of having his friends around.
