"If his absence for one day can affect me, what will happen if you get bored of me?"

<<~>>

Zhan POV

Finally it's the closing time in another day.

I was this close sneaking out before that stalker comes to me and starts pursuing to go somewhere with him again. But when I sneaked my arm into my pocket just in case to see if I got my everything, I realised my wallet was gone. I sure remember that I didn't took it out today and I usually don't. Where is it gone? It didn't have much money anyways so whatever. The one who stole is might be regretting their life decisions now. I laughed along the way but soon I wasn't when I saw he wasn't looking for me instead—he was already going outside.

Did he got bored by staying with me?
I told myself that I am not disappointed until I believe or I thought. It took me only one day to just to realise how his present has affected me and how I keep glancing back at the usual place where he would be. He never changed his spot so it was already like the place was named for himself. How it remained untouched until another customer comes.

What even happened to him..
I seriously do not miss him and that's final. I shook my head in annoyance and continued making the damn coffee which I had to re-make because the customer apparently don't like much sugar.
I seriously need to find a better job.

That day when I was just about to fall into the dreamland a sudden ting sound on my phone made me awake. I groaned debating whether should I see what it is or not. I decided to check whatever it is tomorrow morning and closed my eyes. But before I could sleep again another sound of the notification erupted—followed by many more, leaving me to open it as I didn't have no choice. I swear one day, I'll kill this whoever is and I'll make sure to go to his funeral by myself.

When I opened my Lock Screen, I saw messages from an unknown number.

Unknown
My future hubbieee, missed me?

I almost chocked when I saw the message. This  messaging was fun until that unknown person revealed himself as none other than that stalker. I sighed mournfully and switched offed my phone—not replying to his never ending rain of messages.

As I expected the moment I switch on my phone next morning, the notification sound kept ringing like there's no tomorrow.

Zhan
How did you even find my number in the first place -_-

Annoying stalker
I have my ways :)

Zhan
You know your getting creepy right?

Annoying stalker
Is messaging to someone called creepy?

Zhan
I- but....You- know what never mind.

Annoying stalker
Btw how did ya save my name? Future bf? Oh wait much better LOML?

Zhan
Why would I even do that- I'm going, if I keep talking with you, I'll end up getting crazy.

Should I be worried.. I didn't wait for his reply and started getting ready for my daily activities which are anything but eventful that I wish I could keep goofing around like that Yibo. It should be really fun to stay like that I mean nothing to worry about—having everything you want and you just have to enjoy. I knew I could obtain half of it if I stayed with my father but yet I hate knowing my fate would end up by dying in someone's hands in anywhere. Honestly I wonder why people even want to be a mafia.

Even though I said that, I already knew the answer. It's because for some people power was what valuable most in their life and when they start seeking for it—it becomes a never ending desire. Even killing each other would be just like that when you get blinded by it. I shivered just thinking about it .

When I reached the cafe—I was unusually early today. And what made me more surprised was to find out Yibo was early too just like me. He was standing while staring at his phone even though the cafe wasn't even open yet. As if he had telepathy or something he looked up and waved at me, when he saw me. He had a bright smile which eventually made me smile too. But I was fast enough to not show it much and walked near him.

"Don't you have anything to do other than following me all day? I asked standing by him as I forgot to take the key for cafe last afternoon which meant that I had to wait till manager or someone comes and open the lock.

"Oh about that...Nop, I have nothing to do." He replied smiling widely. I just noticed that he was wearing an ash colour sweater which had sweater paws. Which made him look so small and huggable, I swear I did not want to hug him. You forgot your morning coffee right? Yeah that's what to blame.

I looked at my watch and was getting more irritated at the every second which passed by. It was just few minutes early and I had to wait outside and when I get late just for a second I even get to the point of getting fired. How is it even fair? Visible frown appeared on my face—I widened my eyes when a hair clip was shoved near my face out of nowhere.

"You're bored staying out right? I can unlock the door for you." He said teasingly with his wiggling eyebrows, looking at me.
"Pffft, are you a thief? How can you-" I was cut off when the lock unlocked with a sound as he looked at me proudly.
I huffed—not showing how impressed I was and got inside as he followed me.

To my surprise he even helped me with cleaning and setting up for the cafe to open.
"I swear I have never worked this much in my whole life." He said wiping off the non-existing sweat on his forehead.

"You just only did few things how do you even planning on living if your so spoiled?" I asked.

"Hah, that..yeah you can say that." He said while looking away. A few minutes passed by with pin drop silence as I was unable to start the conversation and he was far away lost in his thoughts to say anything. I seriously need to learn on how to converse with people.

Our awkward silence was broken by none other than my other colleague just entered to see us together—early in the morning. What made me realise that I was sitting on the table where Yibo was sitting on the chair of it was the look he had. I abruptly stood up looking at Yibo who was muffled laughing. It took only one glare of mine for him to stop and leave—giving me a wink out of nowhere. I could swear the other saw it-

Yibo POV

I was frowning for the past few minutes as Zhan he kept ignoring me. He didn't even spare a glance? How ungrateful. I huffed and saw him leaving earlier than yesterday—to my surprise. I glanced at my watch and saw it was almost only afternoon. I thought of going with him so that's what I did.

We were walking along the side path as vehicles passed us. I was on the side of road and he was next to me. Which kind of explained why I had to keep getting behind him from time to time due to the narrowness of the path.

He still kept ignoring me even though he didn't push me nor told me to leave him alone. So I took that as a good sign. I noticed how he kept glancing back every now and then making me confused. I let my eyes wonder around us but didn't find anything. I was just about ask from him why he keep glancing back from time to time when I was suddenly pulled towards the side of him. I would literally look like I was hugging him if I didn't steady myself with my left leg.
He kept looking far at the road which I realised was a jeep—passing us in speed.
I kept waiting till when he would release my grip but he was far away lost in his thoughts that I had to snap my fingers in front of his eyes to get his attention.

"Mind letting my arm go?" I asked when he looked at me.
