Telling Cameron

As the song finishes I look at Dany who's trying to get my attention I remove my headphones and say "What do you want from me Dany?" he gives me a look and says "You closed your eyes and I thought you were asleep, were you?" I look at him and say "No I wasn't asleep I was just remembering something from years ago." he looks at me and says "What were you remembering?" I give him a look and say "None of your business since it doesn't concern you and it has nothing to do with you." he just groans since I always give him that answer and he doesn't like it so he's gonna start bothering me later to just tell him. I decide to get up and to playroom and he decides to follow me (which he always does) as I sit on the couch he sits on the computer chair, I get a text from Cameron saying "Hey Shadow what are you doing?" I look at the text and say "Nothing really, and out of curiosity what were your emotions when I told you I was Shadow man?" after 3 minutes she texts back "Well I thought you were lying until you actually showed me, then you know what I did to you." I let out a slight chuckle then start remembering

(Flashback 2 years ago)

I was in anime club and I was talking with Cameron and I said "Hey Cameron I have to tell you something  important that you can't tell anyone." she gives me a look of worry and says "Your not breaking up with me are you?" I give her a look and say "No i'm not breaking up with you I would never do that." she smiles and breaths a sigh of relief then says "Then what is it that you want to tell me?" I look to my left and my right to see if there is anyone looking and say "I'm the vigilante SM." she gives me a look and says "I know you're not SM." I give her a look and say "I'm SM i'm not lying i'm telling the truth." she lets out a little giggle and says "Come on what makes you say that your SM." I just look and say "Ask me any question about SM and i'll get them right." she looks and says "What city did SM did his first save." I smile and say "Wellston." she says "What person did SM help first." I respond with "An old lady." she gives me a look then says "What other cities did SM go to." I sigh and say "New Bostin, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and I think he also did a save somewhere in Canada." she gets a little worried and ask a question that was hard that her friends didn't even get right "What gender is SM." I say "No one knows but mainly everyone says he is a male." she gives me a look and rolls up my sleeve of my sweater to see some of the bruises I got from my saves and says in my ear "I'm gonna Facetime you around 12 put on earbuds or headphones on full volume." as she finished that sentence I feel a chill go up my spine and nod. 

The club finishes with us packing away our Nintendo switches and leaving to get to out buses or parents picking us up I always hated the Haverstraw bus it's DAMN packed when it pulls in you have to get a seat if you don't you have to stand in the aisle until some people get out and get the seat for the rest until your stop comes. Luckily I was one of the people that found an empty seat and sat down, some random kid that i've seen around school asked if anyone sat there I shook my head no and he sat down while 10-11 kids were standing in the aisle. As the bus starts moving I keep thinking what Cameron is gonna say on our call but I try not to think too much about it since whenever I have something on my mind my family can tell that something is up with me. As the bus keeps moving some kid taps my shoulder as I look he asks me a question in Spanish that I couldn't translate as I turn my head his friend translated as I answered he kept asking until I got off. 

The day went off as normal until the sun started going down and night came I was texting Cameron trying to get her to respond but she wouldn't "She's probably furious with me." I thought and got another chill through my spine. As it was 11:55 I was listening to some music since it kinda calms me down even though I listen to rock music. As the song finishes my phone stops playing music and I see the screen says "Cameron would like to facetime." as I answer I see she's in her room and says "Put on earbuds or headphones and put them on full volume." I get the headphones and put them on and put my full volume on. She asks "Is anyone in your room?" I answer "No" she takes a breath and yells "ARE YOU AN IDIOT YOU ARE GOING FROM PLACE TO PLACE SAVING PEOPLE, YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN GET KILLED FIGHTING THESE PEOPLE AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN BEING SM FOR HUH!!!!!!" I groan in pain since she yelled at me and with headphones on full volume I respond with "Like 2-3 years," she yells back with "ARE YOU THAT BIG OF AN IDIOT!!" I respond with "I take monthly brakes since I don't want to keep going out every night losing sleep and putting my life at risk you know." she takes a deep breath and replies calmly saying "So when were you planning to retire from this dumb vigilante work that you are doing?" I breath and say "Probably this year or next year since, I have been doing it for a while and it's dangerous and boring at times." she takes a sigh of relief and says "Okay i'll keep your secret but remember i'm still mad and still love you so don't get killed please." I respond with "I promise you in a year or 2 I will retire from this work I promise you okay." she smiles and says "Okay is there any other secrets that you have kept from me." I say "No that's it's."

(Flashback end)

"I can't believe that you even yelled at me that loud did anyone even hear you yell at me?" she responds with "Luckily no one did and, YOU SAID YOU WOULD RETIRE!" I sigh and say "I promise you that I will retire this year during the year or at the end of this year promise." It takes a few minutes and she responds with "Fine just don't die you hear me." I respond with a normal "I won't die I promise you okay." as I remember us before telling her I say in my head "How does she even put up with me doing this vigilante work and how does she love me?"
