After we get back from classes, around two, there's a knock on the door. Thor stops reading his textbook to answer the door. When he opens the door, I find a herd of people on the other side of the door.
Odin, Frigga, Hela, Natasha, and Banner, crowd into the room and I furrow my brow "What are you doing here?"
"Checking on you." Frigga states.
Natasha points out "So were we."
I scoff and I state "I've been back to school for two days."
Hela holds up a large box and states "We brought you a care package."
I give a warm smile as she sits it on the bed "I didn't need anything."
Frigga sits on Thor's bed and declares "We figured you could use as much comfort as you could get."
I hum, before opening the box the be greeted by a bamboo pillow. I smile up at them and state "I actually had one of these, last year. Got it from a boy at my group home. I lost it last summer. Best pillow I've ever had."
Frigga smiles, before I toss it to Thor, who frowns "It's heavy."
I continue into the box to find the motherload of snacks. I chuckle as I sit them aside. When I pull out a defuser and some essential oils, I furrow my brow and read off "Lavender, peppermint, and chamomile."
"Relaxing essential oils." Frigga states. I smile, before digging into the box again. When I pull out a box of condoms, I cock an eyebrow to her and she explains "For when you're back on your feet."
I toss them at Thor and he chuckles, before remarking "Next time we have an orgy, these will come in handy."
I groan as Odin's eyes widen. Thor states "We don't necessarily use condoms."
I narrow my gaze at him "You're not helping, Thor. It's thoughtful."
He nods, before shrugging "I mean, you got tested at the hospital. I got tested right before term started."
I sigh, before looking to his family "Thank you."
Hela points out "You have one more thing in the box."
As I try to pull it out with my good arm, I find it's very heavy.
I glance up and cock my eyebrows to them, before motioning to my other arm and remarking "Just got out of hospital, here."
Hela rushes over and pulls it out for me, before asking "How much longer do you have in that sling?"
"Another week and a half." I state, before looking over the cover "A weighted blanket?"
Frigga gives me a warm smile "It's supposed to ease anxiety."
I nod, before declaring "I appreciate it."

When Thor and I get to quantum physics, I sit in my normal seat and begin my essay as Dr. Selvig begins his lecture. Halfway through, he asks "Loki, can you please tell the class the likely of life existing in the quantum level?"
I look up from my laptop and explain "Even if one could shrink down to sub quantum size, their live would be the equivalent of a disoriented astronaut floating through space with no communication systems. Not that modern science is even remotely advanced enough to fathom quantum realm travel. It would ultimately make the traveler smaller than the average atom. Floating through empty space. Likely is very limited and evermost obsolete."
He smiles at me, before looking to the class "It's encouraging to find that not all of my students misunderstand where I'm getting at."
He looks back to me and declares "Every last one of you should appreciate Loki's intellectual properties."
I give an amused look "Flattery will get you nowhere, Professor."
He smirks at me, before continuing on with his lecture. Thor cocks an eyebrow to me and I shrug, before continuing on with my essay.
At the end of class, as the class files out, Selvig looks to me and asks "May I speak to you for a moment?"
I give a warm smile "Of course, professor." I look to Thor and ask "I'll see you outside?"
He gives a short nod as I pack my bag. When Selvig and I are alone, he sits where Thor did and states "It feels like only yesterday, I was sitting at this desk, eager to learn."
He looks to me and states "I see great potential in you." He gives a meek smile "I also see great trauma."
I sigh, before declaring "I take life as it comes."
He gives a proud smile, before remarking "That's all you can do." He looks down and his smile drops "I just hate to see you weighed down."
I furrow my brow and ask "However do you mean?"
He looks to me and states "Your friend, however kind he may seem, he's not the sharpest knife in the block."
I furrow my brow and ask "You know the saying 'love is love'?"
He cocks an eyebrow to me "He's your boyfriend?" I give a short nod, before he moistens his lips, chuckling "It's fair to assume I've made an ass of myself."
I scoff, before declaring "Just a bit."
He gives an awkward smile "I'd just hate to see him stunt your growth."
I lean back in my chair and insist "He's not the sharpest, no. He's a jock, he's overprotective, and he snores, but he's also the only person that cares for me enough to get over my childhood and current trauma."
He gives a weak smile, before declaring "He's not the only one." He stands and steps back towards his lectern "I've seen quite a few people that's sparked interest in you."
I give a weak smile and state "I'd rather stay with Thor. It would be awfully awkward to break up with your roommate."
He gives a warm smile "Indeed."
As he packs his bag, I ask "Is that all, professor?"
He nods, before reassuring "That's all. You may go."
I give a short nod, before beginning for the door, only he calls after me "Have you given anymore thought into becoming my PA next semester?"
I turn back to him and ask "Why not?"
He smiles, before I step out of the room. Thor looks to me and asks "You okay?"
I give him a warm smile and lie "He was asking if I gave anymore thought into being his assistant next semester."
He hums, but my mind is flooded with the conversation. Part of me wonders if Thor was right. If Professor Selvig truly has gained interest in me.
