I sat on Johanna's lap which is my seating preference cause being wrapped in her arms brings me comfort and makes me forget about all the bad things going on in the districts and just focus on her. Johanna had her arms wrapped around my waist and her head on my shoulder. "Morning Kitty Kat," Johanna kissed my neck and I smiled. "Morning Jo-Jo," I smirked as Johanna cringed.
Peeta walked in with bread, "I bought bread from the bakery." I felt Peeta's stare on me and then he held out some bread for me, "would you like some bread Katniss." I looked up at him to see his eyes weren't on my face but his eyes were where Johanna was holding me. "No thanks I already ate," I said and Haymitch shivers. "Ice you both should warm up before the show," Haymitch said and I stood up. "I'll just go then... get ready," Johanna wrapped her arm around my waist and we went to my house and as the door closed Johanna kissed me but then there was a cough.
"Did you have a lovely walk dear?" I frown and turned to my mother and little sister, "I was..."
"We have guests," Prim said and I lost all the blood in my face. I walked into the office room and met face to face with President Snow, "President Snow what an honour." The white haired man smiled, "I think this would go a lot fast if we stopped lying to each other." I looked to the man, "yes that would save us a lot of time." He smiled, "you have taken quite a liking to Miss. Mason haven't you Miss. Everdeen?" I froze, "it would be a shame if something were to happen to her." I stared at the man, "what do you want?" He turned the screen and I see people fighting, "the people in the Capitol believe in your love story with Peeta but the Districts are not convinced. They see you as a symbol to rebel against the Capitol. I can't have that. I've been threw a war Miss. Everdeen and I can tell you that no one wins in war."
"I'll convince them just. Just don't hurt Johanna or my family," I said and Snow turned the picture to when Gale kiss me, "don't convince them. Convince me. Good day Miss. Everdeen."
As Snow and his employees left. Johanna came running in, "Katniss are you okay did he hurt you?" Johanna was looking all over me but I just cupped her face and pulled her into a kiss. Johanna kissed back and pulled me into her closer.
"Cinna and Effie are here," I heard from the doorway and I see Prim. "We will be down there soon," I smiled at my little sister and she walked over to me and hugs me. Johanna smiled and wrapped her arms around the both of us, "come on kid I'll make you something to eat." Johanna smiled and Prim followed her and my heart swelled with love as I watch my soulmate with my sister.
I went down and greeted Effie, Cinna and my stylists. I hugged Cinna for longer and he smiled, "come on I have your outfit planned perfectly." I smiled and soon I was dressed and standing at the door waiting but I paused.
"I don't know if I can do this," I whispered and Effie calls for Johanna. The 21 year old got in front of me and cupped my face, "hey you're okay Kitty Kat just pretend it's me okay. No one else just you and me." I nod and Johanna kisses me then goes back to the kitchen.
