Chapter 26

Still Sandro's POV

Lumabas ako ng bathroom para ipakita ko kay Kaye kung bagay saakin tong pajama na to.

"Oh? Does it look good on me?"

"Yup! You look good at it" She answered.

"Okay!" Sabi ko at tsaka ko kinuha ung phone ko para icheck kung nag message ba sila mum, pero wala.

"Huy! Tulungan mo naman ako dito" Kaye said, and she throws a t-shirt on me.

"Diba? I told you so, huwag mong ilabas lahat" I said, chuckling and sat beside the plastic container to put the clothes back. I stared at Kaye. And she looked at me.

"Oh? Titingin-tingin mo nanaman jan?" she asked me, with her eyebrows meeting up.

"Bawal ba?" I asked, smiling.

"Oo, bawal" She said.

"Ang ganda mo" I said. She stopped putting the clothes in the container.

"Seriously? Sandro?" She said, puts her two hands in her waist.

"What? I'm just complementing you! Appreciating your beauty! Is that bad?" I asked. She looked at me with one eyebrow raised.

"Remember, hindi mo ako nirentahan ngayon, matutulog ka lang dito, okay?" She said, and crosses her arms.

"Hindi ba pwedeng hindi rentahan? Kung pwede naman na itotoo natin?" I asked, still staring at her.

"Huh? Itotoo ang alin?" She asked, with a big question mark on her face.

"Huh?" Napasabi ko. What I meant to say is, kung pwede nalang na- no,no,no putangina, bakit ko sinabi yon?! Sandro!!!! What the hell are you saying?

"What do you mean?" She asked again.

"Ahh, uhm nothing, nothing." I answered nervously.

"Ok then, matulog ka na" She said to me tsaka niya hinila yung plastic container palabas.

"Kaye- I-I-" She looked at me in a weird way.

"Is there something you haven't told me yet? It seems like you want to say something? Say it" She said, "I'll listen" she added and slightly smiled at me.

"Good Night" I said skeptically.

"Oh, okay Good night" She said and then she pulled the plastic container out of the room and closed the door. I covered my mouth, what the hell? It's not the right time to say those words, I sat at the edge of the bed, thinking of the consequences if I said that words earlier. Damn, maybe I'm just really tired, I need to recharge. I closed the lights and went to bed.

"Kaye, I have something to say"

"Huh? What is it?"

"Uhmm, You know ever since I met you, I felt

something strange inside me..."

"Haha? What?"

"Kaye, What I meant to say is, I fell inlove with you, when we first met."

"Sandro, I- may boyfriend na ako, sorry kung nagsinungaling ako sa yo na wala, ayaw ko lang kaseng masaktan ka. But I'm sorry..."

"What? No, please Kaye! Mahal kita! Please don't do this."

"Sorry talaga Sandro, pero itinuring kitang friend not a lover. Sorry talaga" I am reaching her hands but why can't I reach it?

"Kaye!!! NO! Please!!!!" I'm running as fast as I could but she disappeared in the thin air.

"No, please, come back"

"Huy! Sandro! Wake up!" I felt someone smacked my face, and I wake up.

"Huy! Binabangungut ka!" I saw Kaye on top of me, holding my shoulders- and I just stared at her, digesting all the scenes I saw earlier, I pulled and hugged Kaye tightly- so everything was just a dream.

"Bakit? Anong pinaginipan mo?" She asked. I just stayed silent.

"Haha, may humahabol sayo noh?" She said, making joke. But I still just stayed silent, thinking that those dreams will not come true.

"Uhm, you okay na? I can't breathe" She said, gasping for air, oh shit, did I hugged her too tight? So I released her.

"Uhm, sorry" I said and cover my face with the blanket.

"Do you need anything? Water?" She asked me, and I just nodded. Shit luluha na ata ako, but I wiped it fast.

"Okay then, I'll get you some glass of water, be right back." She said and went out.

"Eto, inum ka" She handed me the glass of water and I drink it all.

"So your okay na?" She asked again. I nodded.

"Kaye,"

"Oh?"

"Can I asked you a stupid question?" I said, and I leaned against the wall.

"Oh, ano yon?" She said.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" I asked seriously.

"Ha? You already asked that question diba?" She said.

"I know, but I'm just making sure." I said, seriously.

"Um, *Giggles* What's with that serious face?" She asked.

"Kaye, sagutin mo yung tanong ko" Nagtataka na ako kung bakit nag chachange siya ng topic, please huwag naman sana.

*Sigh* "Fine, I don't have, I'm single, okay? Happy ka na?" She said, with a naiinis face. I was relieved when she said that, like really relieved. Makakahinga na ako.

"Okay then, sige matutulog na ulit ako" I said tsaka ako humiga.

"Uh, okay?" She said.

"Paki close yung ilaw, Salamat" Pahabol kung sinabi.

4:00 in the morning...

Angelina's POV (Kaye's Mum)

I woke up out of nowhere, when I suddenly realised that I slept in the couch- no wonder I feel cold- I jump off the couch and wrapped the blanket around my body- It's 4 in the morning. I went in the kitchen and make myself a coffee to make me feel energised. I went upstairs to check the kids if they are still sleeping- I opened the door and peeped at Sandro, he's still asleep, same as Kaye I checked on her and I saw her blanket on the ground, jusq pati ba ngayon? Ang tanda tanda ng anak ko di parin marunong matulog ng disente? I slowly entered her room and picked up the blanket and cover it on her, and kiss her forehead. I slowly went out the room again and went down to watch tv.
