True Cross Academy's library wasn't a place of much words. In fact, it was a fairly silent place with only a few visitors now and then. The only sounds that could currently be heard were the restrained humming of a female voice and footsteps that echoed through the extensive halls. They could already be heard from afar because of the marble floor.

Finally, a conversant figure emerged from around the corner and immediately caught (Name)'s eye. "Hello Ryuji!" the girl exclaimed joyfully.

"Hello (Name)," said boy answered and seated himself at the same table she had previously painted on. Like always.

Some time has passed since Ryuji decided to visit (Name) from time to time. This picture of a lonely tired-looking girl, sitting in an empty library all by herself day after day just wouldn't leave his mind. To be honest, it was a small miracle he even found the time to go there sometimes - the fewest students had to visit so many different kinds of lectures like he did.

"Tell me, what did you learn today?" The girl beamed in anticipation and folded fists with both of her hands. Ryuji chuckled slightly, his deep voice resonating in his breast. "Today was really educational. My teacher showed me how to refill the munition for different kinds of bazookas and how I can prepare that stuff myself." The boy continued narrating and gesticulated with his hands to give the girl a more detailed impression.

"... like, you pour the holy water into the bottle trough only a narrow tube. This procedure is one of the more difficult ones." He furrowed his eyebrows as he remembered the instructions his teacher gave him.

(Name) sighed out and gave the boy a slightly jealous look. "That sounds great. It's amazing how you guys get to learn all that stuff."

"You guys?" Bon was a bit confused by her choice of words.

"Sorry, I meant you and your classmates of course," she rubbed her arm while tilting her head, "how many students were in your class again?"

"We have two girls and four boys." Ryuji thought back to Takara and how he's still kind of a classmate. "Ok, more like four and a half boys."

(Name) snorted through her nose as her gaze wandered through the room, eyeing the different coloured mass of books. "These surely aren't many students. It's strange there are only so few..."

Then, the both fell into silence and the only perceptible sound was the gentle ticking of the clock hanging above them. The girl still didn't look at Bon (who was admittedly a bit taken back because of this) and started fimbling with the fabric of her dress. Suguro eyed her movements and put up one eyebrow before he spoke. "You alright?"

She finally looked at Bon now, a passionate feeling flowing through her eyes. "My mother accomplished getting me into normal tutoring."

The boy's eyes widened at this, his hand forming into a fist. "So you'll join one of True Cross Academy's classes?"

With that question, a genuine smile that radiated pure joyful energy formed on (Name)'s face. "Yes. And I'll be in the same class you're in."

Ryuji sighed out loudly, a small hint of chuckling hidden under this sequence of noise. He was glad she wouldn't have to deal with a class full of people she didn't know at all.

"You won't have to waste your time by coming here then anymore I guess. We'll see each other a lot in class," she spoke.

"Hey, it's not a waste of time. It's good to see you opening up, to be honest," he answered with a convincing tone as he remembered the really untransparent girl from not too long ago.

"All thanks to you, Ryuji."

As soon as the boy which (Name) considered a friend now left the library, the girl exhaled exhaustedly and retreated from the corner she sat in all day. She took out a golden key with uniquely designed ornaments from an inside-pocket of her clothing and opened an inconspicuous iron door from the dorsal side of the library.

She was greeted with a familiar ray of unnatural light that emerged from within the darkness this room held to it. Her grip on the doorknob tightened as she started shivering - she knew this room just all too well.

"Ready to continue with the attempts, (Name) (Last Name)?" A voice spoke to her from this room.

And so, the girl retreated her hand from the last security to the outside world and the never-ending darkness swallowed her whole.
