Sarah's POV:
I was glad I'd be able to help Ashe; and his son. I thought Danny was the cutest little boy. And I believed he was safer with his father, not his mother. I then felt Danny tug at my arm, as he looked up at me. "What is it?" I asked as I squatted down. "Thanks for helping me; and dad." Danny said. "You're welcome dear." I said. I heard someone clear their throat causing me to look up. I watched Danny run to his father's arms. "Hi dad." Danny said. "Hey Danny." Ashe said. After an hour Danny had gone to bed; and his father leaned against the wall. "So I never asked, what's your name?" I asked. "Ashe Corven is my name." Ashe said as he sat on a table in my room.

I wondered what I'd ask since, I didn't know much about Ashe. I decided to ask about his relationship with his son's mother. "You and Danny's mother?" I said. "Hmm?" Ashe said questioningly as he stared at the ground. "What was she liked?" I asked. He looked up at me so that I could see my question, made him cringe. I noticed a look of hurt flash acrossed his face. "I-" Ashe said then stopped speaking. "I get that it's a touchy subject, I'm sorry I asked." I said. "No. I just don't know how to explain it." Ashe said. This made me frown, so I walked to him; and sat on the table next to him. "Is it because of her drug addiction?" I asked. "Yes and no." Ashe said as he bawled his right fist. "You don't have to tell me." I said. "No it's okay. I just thought I was enough for her." Ashe said. "I thought that to, when it came to my mother." I said.

I watched as Ashe shook his head. I was a bit confused as to why he was. "Did I say something wrong?" I asked. "Not at all. I just don't understand why of all people a mother would do that. Danny's mother did it, your mother did it. It's not right." Ashe said causing me to burst in to tears. This caused Ashe to pull me into his arms; and I just let myself cry in them. "I don't want anymore people leaving me. I'm scared you and Danny will do it to." I said through tears. "We won't. We have suffered to much; and so have you. We need to stay together Sarah." Ashe said. "Thank you. I'll make sure you're both happy." I said falling asleep in his arms, as exhaustion took over my body. As I slept I felt him tighten his hold on me, making me smile. "We'll make sure you are too." Ashe said.

After a couple of hours I opened my eyes; and noticed I was still in Ashe's arms, but I made no move to get out. I looked up to see Ashe's blue eyes watching me. "Hey Sarah." Ashe said. "Hey Ashe. Sorry for crying." I said. I looked down thinking my crying annoyed him. "It's ok Sarah. Glad I was the one you could trust." Ashe said. I wrapped my arms around him; and hugged him tightly. "So have you always worked in an auto shop." I asked. "You could say that." Ashe said. "So you pretty much know it like the back of your hand." I said. "Yea pretty much. What about you, what do you do?" Ashe asked. "Oh I work at a tattoo shop. That's where mine came from." I said. "Cool." Ashe said. I then heard footsteps; and looked towards the living room doorway. I smiled once I saw Danny standing there, while rubbing his eyes. "Come here Danny." Ashe said.
