Chapter 19: New people- Michael and Selene

Michael's POV:
Selene, Eve; and myself had finally made it to Los Angeles. I wouldn't say it was the greatest place in the world, but it's livable; and Selene seemed to have agreed with me. As we walked we could sense many heartbeats, but chose to stay away from the humans. Soon we stopped when we noticed a human family, whom seemed to be very different from the other human families. We decided we'd ask them how to get to the street our house was on. It had seemed by what the young human female said, we lived near their family. They decided to lead us in the direction of our homes, with the male going ahead on his motorcycle, which I thought looked pretty neat. Once there we decided to part ways, which wasn't easy since Eve seemed to get close to the young human boy quickly.

So instead we all decided to go to the young human family's home. There was an interesting aura to the human male; and I noticed Selene had picked up on it, just as fast as I did. The aura I picked up was a mixture of pain; and happiness laced together. Selene and I then picked up the same aura coming from the young human female. But the young human boy seemed fine. "So we'd like explain to you what we are, just please don't be afraid of us." Selene said as we sat across from the human couple. "Alright." Sarah said. Selene then explained to who; and what we are. It didn't seem to scare them at all; and they explained they already had supernatural friends, so they welcomed us. I heard a small cry to which caused both Selene; and I turned to look in the direction it was coming from. We watched Sarah walk into a bedroom, then come back out.

I had notice she was holding a newly born child in her arms, but I wasn't sure the gender. "Who's that?" Selene asked. "She's our newly born daughter Elizabeth Marie Corven." Sarah said. As Selene spoke with Sarah, I looked over at Eve whom was playing with the little boy. I then watched as Eve ran up to me; and wrapped her little arms around me. "Hi Eve." I said as I rubbed her head. "Hi daddy." Eve said. I then picked her up; and sat her on my leg. This made Selene smile as she looked towards me; and Eve. Eventually we headed to our home with our daughter; and settled down. Soon Eve went to sleep; and Selene curled up beside me. "I love you Michael." Selene said as she rested her head on my chest. "I love you too Selene." I said running my fingers through her hair.
