Chapter 3: Ashe and Sarah

A/n: Short chapter

Ashe's POV:
It's been a couple of weeks, since Danny; and I moved into Sarah's. In these couple of weeks Sarah; and I have become a lot closer, then we were before. It was now nine o'clock at night, so I got my son to sleep. "How's Danny?" Sarah asked as I walked into the living room. "He's okay, he's sleeping now." I said. This made Sarah smile, as she patted the seat next to her. Once I sat down I felt her rest her head on my shoulder. "How're you feeling?" I asked. "I'm feeling better then I used to. What about you?" Sarah asked. "I'm alright." I said. "There's something I need admit to you." Sarah said. "What is it?" I asked. "I'm in love with you Ashe." Sarah said.

I was surprised at what she said. I didn't think she'd share the same feelings as I. "I share the same feelings." I said as I looked at Sarah. "That makes me happy Ashe." Sarah said. "I'm glad." I said as I smiled a small smile. I wrapped my arms around her waist, as I felt her arms going around my neck. I then allowed myself to press my lips against hers. After the need for air proved to strong I pulled away. I pulled her closer, as I felt her rest her head on my shoulder. "I promise I won't be like Danny's mother." Sarah said. "I know you won't." I said. Sarah smiled as she laid in my arms. I thought back on when I first met Sarah, which made me frown. I remembered how I yelled at her when she was only trying to help. But now I realize I'm glad I met her.

While holding Sarah, I heard my son begin to cry. I looked down at Sarah; and shook her gently. "Hey I'm gonna check on Danny." I said. "Alright I'll be here." Sarah said as she let go of me. I nodded my head; and got up. I then walked back to the room my son was in. "Hey Danny. What's wrong bud?" I asked as I sat on the edge of the bed. "I had a nightmare." Danny said as he climbed into my arms. I held him close as I let him calm down. "Don't worry, it wasn't real." I said. "Can I stay with you; and Sarah?" Danny asked. "Of course." I said picking him up; and carrying him out to the living room. After awhile Danny had fallen back to sleep.
