Chapter 7: Ashe and Sarah

Sarah's POV:
I sat beside Ashe as Danny slept in his arms. I began to rub his head gently as he slept. "He's precious." I said. "Yea he is." Ashe said as he looked down at his son. "Lets get him to bed." I said as I stood up, with Ashe. We took him to the bedroom; and laid him down. We then went to my bed; and got in it. I rested my head on Ashe's chest, as I laid beside him. "I love you Ashe." I said. "I love you too Sarah." Ashe said as he held me. Soon we had both fell asleep together till the sun rose. Once the sun came out my eyes opened. I noticed Ashe was still asleep. I gently crawled out of his arms; and the bed, so he wouldn't wake up. I then went to take a shower. Once I was done, I got dressed and; went to my vanity table to brush my hair. I looked at myself in the mirror while my hair was still down; and that's when I noticed Ashe had woken up.

I smiled as I looked at him in the bed. I was so happy he was here with me again. "Hello love." I said making Ashe look up at me. "Hey." Ashe said as he got out of the bed. He then walked over to me; and squatted down next to me. "Sleep okay love?" I asked. "Yea. You?" Ashe asked. "Yea I did." I said leaning down causing my hair to cascade around me. I gently placed my hand on the side of his face. I then pressed my lips against his. After awhile we pulled away. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." Ashe said as he looked up at me. I smiled as I looked at him. Before I met him, I had vowed to never fall in love. But that changed the moment I met him. "When I met you as a hurt man, you had your hair up; and for most our relationship you've had it up in some kind of hairstyle." Ashe said. "Yea I know." I said.

I never kept it down, as I never thought I looked beautiful. So I wondered did Ashe think differently about it then I did; and still do. "Why don't you ever wear it down?" Ashe said. "Because I never thought I looked beautiful." I admitted. This seemd to make Ashe frown as he to rested his hand against my cheek. "Want to know what I think?" Ashe asked. "Yea I do." I said. "I think you are beautiful no matter how you wear your hair. Wether it's up or down." Ashe said. This made me feel very happy. I never expected Ashe to be so kind. "Thank you. That means a lot to me." I said. "No need to thank me, Sarah." Ashe said. I decided that from now on I'd wear my hair both ways; and not think negatively about it. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." Ashe said.

I sat up so that Ashe was able to fully stand back up. Once he was standing up completely I got up; and place my hand on his cheek. "Should we go see if Danny is awake?" I asked. "In a minute." Ashe said as he wrapped his arm around my waist. He looked down at me as he held me. "What Ashe?" I asked. "Remember when we first met?" Ashe asked. "Yea I do." I said. "I just want to apologize about how I acted." Ashe said. "I forgive you Ashe." I said. "Thank you." Ashe said. "No need to thank me." I said.
