Chapter 10: Ashe and Sarah

Ashe's POV:
I honestly couldn't believe I was going to be marrying Sarah. Back then if someone told me, I'd get with someone again I would have most likely tell them, they were out of their mind. But now I know that if it was said back then it would have been true. I honestly worried about our relationship sometimes, but I could never find the words to tell Sarah. Soon I noticed a pale faced man walk up to me. This confused me greatly as I didn't know who he was. "Who are you? Is there something you need?" I asked. "My name is Lestat. My lover and I were passing by; and wondered if we could stayed for the wedding." Lestat said. I nodded my head at him as I looked at him. 'The more, the merrier.' I thought to myself. I sighed as I looked down at my son. I hoped he was okay. "You okay Danny?" I asked. "Yea I'm okay dad." Danny said.

I noticed Lestat looked at Danny, as if he was the first little boy, he has seen in centuries. This confused me a bit as I continued to look at him. "Is everything alright?" I asked. "Yes. He seems like a very sweet boy." Lestat said. This made me smile as I looked down at my son; and then back up at Lestat. "He is a sweet boy. Unfortunately I don't have anyone to watch him, during the wedding." I said. "I don't think Jesse would mind, but if you don't mind Jesse; and I can watch him." Lestat said. I thought about it for a moment; and realized that it would be a lot of help. So I nodded my head as I looked at Lestat. "That would be a lot of help." I said. "Glad to help." Lestat said. I smile as I nod my head; and squatted down in front of Danny, as I explained to him what was happening. He nodded his head as he hugged me.

I then watched as Danny walked over to Lestat, whom was now squatting. I then watched Lestat walk over to a young woman, who I assumed was his lover. I then stood by myself; and waited for my soon to be wife. I was extremely happy I'd be with Sarah for the rest of my life. Soon we said the normal vows; and now the preacher said to say anything else we had on our hearts.

Ashe
Today and all days, I will love you forever. You bring so much joy to life, even when life gets hard. You always know how to make the most of everything. Love always wins. No matter what is going on in our lives, I know that together we can accomplish anything. Forever isn't long enough when I think about how much time I want to spend with you as your husband.

Sarah
I can't imagine life without you. We've been through so much together and it's only made our relationship stronger. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us! I can't wait to see you soon and finally say 'I do'. I'm excited for the next stage of our lives and all the new adventures we'll have!

After finishing we exchanged the rings; and I kissed her gently. After pulling away from the kiss, Sarah wrapped her arms around me; and held onto me. I then saw Lestat bring Danny down to us, along with his girlfriend. "Congrats to both of you." Jesse said as she looked at both of us with a smile. "Thanks." we both said in unison. Sarah then looked at me causing me to look at her; and tilt my head. I was a bit confused; and wonder what she was thinking. "Who's gonna watch Danny?" Sarah asked. "Hmm? Is there anyone in particular you want to watch him?" I asked.

As we talked Lestat sat with Danny; and let Danny show him the paintings he did. "I know its not perfect but I like to paint." Danny said as he looked at Lestat. "That's nice bud. I have a friend that paints." Lestat said. This made Danny's face light up. He looked down at the paints, then back at Lestat. "Do you think they'd like them?" Danny asked as he referred to his paints. "I'm sure he'd love them." Lestat said making Danny smile. Sarah and I then walked over to Lestat; and Jesse. I felt we'd be a bother but Sarah insured me that it's be fine. "Hey Jesse, Lestat is there any chance you both could stay at our house; and watch Danny?" Sarah asked. "Yes we can. Right Lestat?" Jesse said questioningly which Lestat nodded his head. "Thank you both." I said. "It's not problem at all for us." Lestat said. I nodded my head as I looked at them. Soon we departed from each other, after we said by to Danny.
