Chapter 13: Lestat and Jesse

A/n: This chapter will be a tad bit longer.

Jesse's POV:
It was now evening when I woke up in my coffin. When I opened my coffin lid, I noticed Lestat's was empty. Indicating that Lestat was already up; and moving around. I got up and out of my coffin to start my evening with Lestat. Once I walked out of the room, I made my way to the living area. Once I had made it in the room I noticed Lestat over at the window. Smiling I made my way over to him; and wrapped my arms around his waist from behind. "Hi my love." Lestat said. "Hello my dear." I said as I rested my head against his back. Lestat then pulled away; and turned around. He wrapped his arms around my waist. "I love you my love." Lestat said. "I love you too my dear." I said.

Lestat then leaned down closer to me; and pressed his lips against my own. I ran my fingers through his hair, as I returned his kiss. I felt Lestat lift me off my feet; and press me against the wall. I then felt him slide his tongue acrossed my bottom lip. I opened my mouth, allowing him access. Once I did so I felt him slip his tongue in my mouth; and continued to kiss me. While we continued to kiss we fought for dominance, to which Lestat won, causing me to let out a moan. Soon we pulled away panting. "I love you Lestat." I said as I looked at him. "I love you too Jesse." Lestat said. This made me smile a small smile, as I looked at him. We hadn't realized Marius came in, until he cleared his throat making us seperate. "Hi Marius." I said. "Hello Jesse. Am I interrupting something?" Marius asked raising his eyebrow.

I looked at Marius then at Lestat while feeling a bit embarrassed. Lestat then shook his head. "No you aren't." Lestat said. "Alright. Well I need to speak with you alone Lestat." Marius said. Lestat nodded his head as he looked at Marius. He then let go of my hand and walked off with Marius. I felt worried as I didn't know what they had to talk about, that I couldn't hear. Soon Lestat came back into the room; and walked up to me. "Akasha had a child, she hid from me after she had her." Lestat explained. "Who's the father?" I asked as I looked up at him. Lestat stayed quiet for a good while, making me worried. "I am." Lestat said as he looked at me. I backed up feeling fear running through me. I couldn't believe it, Lestat had a child with Akasha.

I thought to myself for a moment; and told myself that it wasn't his fault. I remembered she had control of him. "I didn't want to have anything with her. It wasn't out of love." Lestat said. "But you told her did the night of her death." I said. Lestat shook his head as he walked closer to me. As he did this my body went a bit stiff. "I lied to Akasha, but she was naive enough to believe I loved her, when I didn't in anyway." Lestat explained. "I trust you; and I believe you." I said then kissed him. I felt happy when I felt him return my kiss. I felt if it was possible I would fall even more in love with him. "So then what is going to be done about the daughter?" I asked. "I will have to go with Marius; and Armand to either turn her to our ways, or destroy her." Lestat said. I felt as if I was punched right in the stomach. Feelings of both hurt and anger went through me.

I began to punch my fists against Lestat's chest, as I felt horrible. A large feeling of fear hit me again as I looked in his eyes, before I moved away from him. "Why?! What if she takes you from me just like Akasha did?!" I screamed. "Calm down Jesse. She won't take me from you like Akasha did." Lestat said. I bawled my fist up; and kept them at my side. At times like this I wish I could still cry. "How can I be sure of that?!" I screamed. "You can be, because I don't want to spend eternity with anyone but you. You are the only woman I want!" Lestat yelled. This made me widen my eyes, I knew Lestat loved me, but I never thought I was the one he wanted for eternity. I thought I'd be with him for a few years, then he'd throw me away for another female vampire. "I trust you." I said calmly as I walked up to him. "I love you." Lestat said then pressed his lips against mine. For awhile we kissed before eventually pulling away. "I love you too." I said.
