Hiking

I woke up with Hayes next to me, snoring. Ok I'll admit it. He was fucking hot. I looked at my phone and someone started a #prayforbeth on Twitter. Oh my god that is so embarrassing, it makes me look weaker than what I already am. I took out my phone and opened Twitter.

@itssbeth: hey guys thanks to whoever was apart of #prayforbeth! I'm fine now, but thanks for keeping me in your thoughts.

I looked at all my messages and saw at least 20 from Brandt.

Brandt: hey are you ok?
Brandt: Beth???
Brandt: Beth answer me!
Brandt: Beth I swear to god if you don't text me back

Were just some of them. I decided to text him back. I began to shake from anger when I thought of how he hurt my friends. He hurt the ones I love.

Beth: stop texting me I'm done with you. Hurting them was like hurting my family Brandt and that is not ok.

He almost immediately texted back.
Brandt: what ever Beth I'm done with you too. I can't believe I ever thought about being with a whore like you again.

I sighed because his words really do hurt me.
"Hey" Hayes said. I almost forgot that he was there. "Hey" I smiled back at him. I turned so I was facing him. We were face to face, literally inches apart.
"How are you feeling?" He asked.
"Better"
We stared into each others eyes for what felt like hours. He broke the silence by saying "you are so beautiful Beth."
I laughed and shook my head no and looked down. He gently grabbed my chin and titled my head up so I was looking into his deep blue eyes again. "Yes you are" he spoke quietly. Then before I knew it, I was leaning into to eyes. And he was too. His lips touched mine and we both closed our eyes. Our lips moved perfectly in synch. We both pulled away when someone threw a pillow at us. We look over at Ali who was in her bed. She laid back down and said "stop, it's too early for this shit." We laughed and laid back down. I laid down on his chest. His heartbeat was fast, but soothing.
"What should we do today?" He spoke.
"Why don't we all go for a hike?"
"Ya that sounds fun"
"Ok I will go tell everyone." I said while getting up

"Is everyone ready?" Ali asked while walking out the door
"Yessss" all the boys groaned.

I knew that none of the boys wanted to go, but we were making them. We drove to the trail that we found online. Apparently it has the best view in California at the top. Me and Ali are used to hiking because we did a lot back in Colorado. We started and we weren't even half way up and the boys were all breathing heavy and sweating.

"Oh come on, you guys aren't that out of shape" Ali giggled.
"Ya we chose an easy for you guys" I added

We were climbing up a steep rocky trail but right next to it was a tiny stream. I'll admit, it was steep but it wasn't a long trail. Me and Ali were ahead of the boys and I heard Taylor say "they were right it is a nice view" all the boys laughed and me and Ali covered our butts with our backpacks. She shot him a glare as we waited for them to catch up.
"I'm just kidding babe. " He laughed
She shook her head and we started going up again. I could tell we were close to the top because I heard rushing water. I saw a water fall and knew we were at the top.

"Come on guys, we are at the top" I called back to the boys.

I looked around and saw the most beautiful water fall ever. Under it was a pool of crystal clear blue water. Me and Ali our bags down and took off our clothes so we were in our bathing suits. No one else was there except for us and the sweaty, panting boys that had just joined us. They took off their shirts and ran to the water. Ali ran in too, but I decided to walk around. I found a rock that over looked the ocean I took out my Polaroid camera and took some pictures. I love my camera, I take it everywhere with me. I have a big collection of pictures. I set it down on my bag and sat of the rock, with my feet dangling off.
"This is really cool" I turned around to see Hayes holding my camera and examining it.
"Be careful, that's my baby" I laughed
"Can I take a picture? "He asked
"Sure" I replied
"Do something cool" he said
I stood up and brushed off my sandy butt.
"Like what?" I asked.
"I don't know something cool" he laughed.
I turned to the side and kicked back my leg and pulling it up until it was straight into a needle. I pulled it as far as it could go and arched my back.
"Woah" he said. Then I dropped it when. I heard the camera click.
"Where did you learn to do that" he asked, still amazed.
"I'm a cheerleader Hayes. I want to be the best flyer so I force myself to stretch everyday" I laughed
He showed me the picture and it was pretty cool. It had the sun setting behind me. I put it in my bag and looked up at Hayes who was smiling at me.
"What?" I giggled.
"You're just so gorgeous."
"Stop hayes" I giggled.
"I'll race you too the water" he said.
"Ok on your marks, get set" I said. And before I got to go I started running.
"Hey!" He said.
I was running as fast as I could but he caught up to me and wrapped his arms around me. He just keeps getting cuter and cuter. I really like him. Like, really really like him. He turned me around so we were face to face. I can tell he was studying my face, but I was still locked into his eyes.
"Will you go out with me Beth?" He spoke gently.
"Of course I will" I smiled and felt myself blush. Wow. I didn't know he liked me. I felt butterflies in my stomach as the thought of Hayes, Brandt, and going on a date filled my head.
