Chapter 30

"Oh my god! Can we see her? Is she ok?"

"No, not yet. And we don't know how she is yet" Katie said in tears.

"Ali was unconscious because she was hit in the head with a gun. It left a big cut on her head but they stiched it up. She was also shot twice" my mother said while she and miss Elizabeth hugged Katie.

"So when will we be able to see her?" Nash asked.

"Well we don't know, but the doctors will find us and give me an update on her when they fully know what's going on with her. But for now you are going to have to go back to your room"

I nodded. Matthew pushed me back into the elevator and I held Hayes hand. We walked back in the room.

"Ok, this room is hell. Can I go home? Just to shower?" I said looking around the room for someone who could give me an answer.

"I don't know Beth. I'll go find the doctor." Shawn said.

"Thank you"

I look over to Hayes and say "Babe, I really want to go home and change."

"I know baby, but there's a chance the doctor won't clear you for that yet" he stroked my messy hair back.

I'm disgusting. My hair was full of dirt and blood. I haven't showered. There was dirt under my nails. The only hygienic thing I've done is brush my teeth. I need to go home.

Shawn and Aaron come back into the room, following the doctor who has been treating me for the last few days.

"Hey Miss Beth, how are you feeling sweetheart?" Doctor Colman said with a kind smile. Doctor Colman looked around mid thirties and had light blonde hair and bright white smile. She walked over to me with her clipboard and pen.

"Hi" I smiled back.

"So what is it you wanted to see me for?"

"I was wondering if I can go home today"

She nodded and flipped through the notes on her clipboard.

"Well Beth, I see no reason for you not to leave. But remember, no walking. And just to make sure, you will need to come back tonight, so we know you will be ok overnight."

"Ok! Thank you so much" Even though I had to come back, I was just glad I got to leave.

"Tomorrow, you should be able to go home, hopefully for good" she laughed

"Ok thank you" I said while sitting up.

"Of course hunny, be careful"

Hayes helped my into my chair and all the boys decided they wanted to come home with us, so they got up and we walked to the elevator together.

We got to the lobby and found my mom.

"Mom, we are going home for a bit to shower and change"

"Ok sweetheart, I'm going to stay with Elizabeth and Katie. Just remember, your dad and Eric will be here later today" she turned away to talk to the police man who was standing in front of them.

"Please, please, please be careful" she turned back with slight tears in her eyes.

"I will mother" I laughed, even though I knew I shouldn't have laughed.

"I'm being serious" she said sternly.

I reached up and she leant down. I wrapped my arms around her neck.

"I know, I love you so much" I whispered and kissed her cheek.

"Don't worry Sierra, we will make sure nothing bad happens to her" Cameron assured her.
