Dinner

And finally Mahogany (aka queen) came out and did her DJing. Me and Ali went bat shit crazy when she waved to us. We screamed and cheered for her the whole time. And before we knew it, the show was over and it was time for the meet and greet.

Ali had a white mahogany shirt that said " mahogany lox" and the words were in a heart. I had a shirt that was pink and a silhouette of Mahogany with her ears on. We were hoping she would sign them because, seriously how cool would that be?

We saw her table and Ali started crying. I for one don't cry. I pride myself in not crying since I was 9 years old. Why you ask? I think crying, no matter what is a sign of weakness and I want to be known as a strong person.

As we got closer to her table I got butterflies in my stomach. She is my role model. I literally base my log off hers. Of course I will never look like her but really she's so gorgeous I don't think anyone's looks compare to hers.

It was finally Ali's turn to meet her and she ran up and have her a hug. They posed for a few pictures and mahogany signed her shirt. Then it was my turn.

I walked up and froze. I couldn't believe I was meeting my hero. She gave me a warm smile and asked me my name. "B-Beth" I stuttered back. She signed my shirt and we took one serious picture and a silly one where we both did duck lips and went cross eyed. I thanked her and hugged her one more timing before leaving. Ali and I already decided before that we were just going to leave after we met Mahogany. Plus Magcon was about to end and we wanted to beat the sea of screaming girls so leaving now was best.

As we walked in I saw my mom was talking to a kind looking lady. For some reason I felt like I've seen her before.

My mom introduced me to her new friend Elizabeth. I still don't know where I've seen her from but I know I've seen her at least once. Soon a little girl carrying a stuffed horse ran in and jumped in her mothers lap as Ali and I said " nice to meet you!" in unison. " we will be going to dinner with Miss Elizabeth and her children tonight, Beth. " my mom chirped as we got up from the comfy chairs at the book store. "Awesome" I replied trying to sound excited, but the truth was I was exhausted. It was the time magcon was ending so I assumed we would pick up Miss Elizabeth's daughters there. As we walked out of the store we made conversation with Miss Elizabeth and me and Ali asking her adorable daughter Skylynn questions. " how old are you Skylynn?" Ali asked. " five" she shot back with a hint of adorable sass in her voice. After I told her I had a horse named Felix and Ali had a horse name Lily she instantly fell I love with us. " are you guys sisters?" She asked. "No" we chuckled. "We live on the same street and both have farms. So we ride our horses together all the time" Ali explained. Skylynns eyes widened when she heard us say horses. " can I come ride horseys with you guys sometime?!?" She screamed/squealed. " of course you can!!!!" We said laughing at her cuteness. We finally got you my moms car and Skylynn asked Miss Elizabeth if she could ride with us to the restaurant. Miss Elizabeth gave my mom a questioning look and my mom said of course she can! "Only if you promise to behave in their car and at the restaurant" she replied. "Promise" Skylynn squealed as her and her mom crossed pinkies and kissed the like Ali and I used to do when we were kids. " Beth!!" Skylynn squealed jumping into my arms as Miss Elizabeth walked away. She called back " meet you at the restaurant in 15 minutes! Can you save seats for 12?" A little shocked my mom nodded yes. "She has 12 kids?!?" I whispered to my mom. "I guess 11 plus her. She never really told me. " my mom said unsure. Ali pauses from braiding skylynn's hair in the back seat and leant for and whispered " did Miss Elizabeth look really familiar to you? Or is it just me?" " I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING" I whisper/ yelled. Just then we pulled in to a restaurant I've never been to before. We got in a reserved seats for us and for an additional 10. We sat down while me and Ali played with little Skylynn. We were watching Skylynn play a game on my phone when I looked up and saw Miss Elizabeth with not her daughters.... but her sons Nash and Hayes Grier and the rest of the magcon boys trail behind her.
