*ALI'S POV*
"Please wake up Beth" I begged, even though I know she couldn't hear me. This has only happened once before, and we never spoke of it again. And when I say 'this', I mean her passing out from blood loss. I remember it so clearly even though it was a little over a year ago. I remember waking up in the middle of the night, to her crying. She didn't lock the door to the bathroom because she thought I was asleep, if she would've locked the door, she would've been dead. We were home alone so I called 911, even though she begged me not to, she said "please, just let me die." And I knew that she was serious. The ambulance came and so did her parents. We were all hugging together and crying as they took her to the hospital. The medics only let her mom, Miss Sierra go with them so I drove with her father. We drove in the car crying and talking about what an amazing person she was, and how we weren't ready to see her go. We got to the E.R shortly after the paramedics did. And we ran into see what room Beth was in. The receptionist told us room 342 and that why 342 is my lucky number, but no one knows that, that is the reason why. We got to the room and saw Beth laying there with her mom crying over her. Her mother ran up and hugged me and Mr. Andrew, Beth's dad. The doctors came in and told us that she would need to stay a few nights for them to see if she was going to be ok, but so far it looks like she will be fine. The next day Beth woke up and she seemed to be fine. I stayed by her side for a week when they decided to release her. She went away for what seemed like forever without my best friend. She went away to a place where they promised to fix her. She didn't need fixing, she needed her friends and family. But they still insisted on taking her away. She went away for about a month to a rehabilitation center in Florida. When she came back, she was the same person she was when she left, just wilder. She wanted to party more, and do crazier drugs. After I realized that Beth would be ok I got angrier and angrier thinking about how she would have left this world and not even think of saying goodbye to me. I know that's sounds selfish but I could've helped her if she would have just come to talk to me. I hated her the whole time she was in rehab, I was so resentful about the fact that she kept herself sheltered from the people who love her, and felt like she couldn't talk to me.
"She waking up" Nash yelled which pulled me out of my flashback. I run into the living room to see Beth sitting up with her arms and thighs wrapped up in bandages. We didn't take her to the hospital because apparently Shawn and Aaron are both trained medics.
Beth's eyes fluttered open and she looked terrified. She looked like she forgot what happened. She saw the bandages on her wrist and let out a big sigh. She looked at Hayes in the eyes and said something that I was expecting her to say after what had happened. She said with tears in her eyes. "Please, let me die, I'm ready to leave this terrible world. I don't want to be here anymore."
