The one by the water park?

Everyone's food came and I was asked by everyone why I wasn't eating. I just gave the same answer I always do.

" I had a big lunch"

The boys just nodded and continued talking.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw my mom and Ali exchange glances.

"So are you almost out of school?" Hayes asked me.

"Ya actually, today was mine and Ali's last day."

"My last day was a week ago" he smiled. I gladly returned the smile while looking down at Skylynn who was now under the table.

" Do you play any sports?" Hayes asked.

"Well I cheer for my high school and my all-star gym."

"Oh wow that's really cool, so you must be really busy."
He said with a mouth full.

"Ya I have cheer every night except Saturdays and twice on Fridays but it's ok I love it. Do you play any sports?"

"Ya I play football and lacrosse but I made varsity football my freshman year so I'm mainly focusing on that right now"

I was a little shocked. It's almost unheard of that freshman makes varsity football. Well unless your schools football team really sucks, but I know for a fact Hayes' school's doesn't because nash has posted a video from when he still went to the public school that Hayes goes to, and it was them at the state championships and Miss Elizabeth was recording nash play. And then nash got the winning touch down at someone said it was there 7th state win in a row.

"Wow you must be really good" I accidently blurted. I felt my cheeks turn red as he let out a small laugh.

" I don't know, people me I am but I know I can always get better."

"I'm sure you're great Hayes"

"Maybe you could come to one of my games sometimes...if you want... you don't gave to though" he said giving me a goofy smile.

"That would so much fun! I would love to!" But wait I thought to myself how would I watch him if I live in Colorado and he lives in North Carolina when him and Nash aren't on tour. But I won't let that ruin my conversation with Hayes.

He looked me right in the eye and said " you know your really pretty"

"I'm not but thanks" I said. He opened his mouth to say something when cameron yelled from the other end of the table " what hotel are you guys staying at?"

Ali looked at my mom who was laughing along with Miss Elizabeth.

The she looked at me. "Beth?"

"Um I think it's the Best Western down town by the park"

The boys eyes slightly widened.

" The one by water park?" Matthew asked.

"Uh ya I think so. "

The boys exchanged happy looks and yelled "SO ARE WE!" I have to admit I was excited to maybe spend more time with Hayes and I could tell Ali was excited too.

Then Skylynn jumped on my lap and whispered " I think Hayes poo likes you" she said while laughing. Shocked, at what this five year old just told me I looked up from the ground. And just then, Hayes turned away from his conversation with Shawn still laughing. We made eye contact and I got that feeling I had felt when I first fell in love with Brandt.

I felt tears brim my eyes just at the thought of how terrible that relationship was and hi terrible it ended. But then Hayes smiled at me, making the hidden tears in my eyes disappear, exchanging them for butterflies in my stomach.

Oh god. No. I think I'm falling for Hayes. I can't. Not even if I wanted to. I don't think I will ever be able to be in relationship again. But that would never happen because star football players and famous viners like Hayes don't fall for fat, ugly, worthless girls like me.
