"...written off as a coincidence."
"Come on, let mey go," Remington whined. It was about ten o'clock and he had decided at the last minute he wanted to go to the club with Kai, Kim, and Aisha, and they weren't sure on letting him go. He had caught them in Aisha's room.
"We told you earlier about it and you said no," Kim told him. She had bought a white pencil dress and had put on a few pieces of jewelry.
"I jus' said no because Klausy di'n't want me goin',"
"Well he probably didn't want you to go for a reason," Kai had a black unbuttoned suit jacket with a very sheer white undershirt and black trousers. He had styled his hair normally.
"He jus' di'n't want mey ta have fun,"
"Let's just bring him, we're wasting time anyways," Aisha had a red slip dress with her hair in a slicked back ponytail.
"See, listen ta ha'," Remington pointed to Aisha.
"What would you wear?" Kai asked, sounding agitated.
"This of course," Remington had on a sheer and tight black shirt with red and black plaid pants.
Kai looked him up and down judgingly, "Fine. If you do something dumb I'll... Have Kim do something."
"Always have to take care of these kids," Kim mumbled.
"Are we leaving yet or what?" Aisha asked, tired of waiting.
"Yeah, the Ubers here," Kim looked at her phone.
"God, Remington if you start stripping I'll kill you," Kai put an earring in.
"Oh, why don't ya like a li'le bit of fun?" Remington teased. After a bit, they all ventured out, Remington ending up sitting right beside the Uber driver.
The club they went to was in a fancy and well-architectured building. The outside was like most of the other buildings around Paris, but the inside was completely different. There were purple, blue, and green lights constantly flashing. The music could be heard from outside. It was currently playing Comme Des Garçons (Like The Boys) by Rina Sawayama, but turned up to ten. It smelled of every alcohol imaginable, and maybe a few drugs that the bouncers could've missed.
"Well, I guess it's time to get the party started," Aisha mumbled, meaning absolutely no one knew what she was doing until she left for the hoard of drunk people dancing.
"I'll go to-" Kim tried to yell something to Kai and Remington, but was dragged away by a random person to go dance.
"At least she'll be doing something fun for once!" Kai commented, "Hey, wanna go to the bar area!?"
"Go'a get drunk first ta have fun!" Remington replied, "Well, you have ta!" Kai grabbed his arm and dragged him away. They went around the dancers and found a pretty big bar with about eight baristas. They took a seat on the far end. Luckily, the music was quieter around here.
"Que puis-je vous offrir?" a barista, a short and angry-looking man, asked them. They didn't have to scream as much over here.
"We don't speak French," Kai told him.
"Tu rigoles. Plus d'Américains," the man scoffed as he became red, "Quinn, nous avons des anglophones!" He yelled to the center of the bar. Then, a man cleaning a glass came over.
"Tu peux partir maintenant, Alex. Allez vous rafraîchir," The man told the other barista, who gave Kai and Remington a glare before leaving.
"Did I jus' hear him cawlin' me an American?" Remington asked, appalled.
