TW: Arguing

"It's like a leech."

"What have you figured out?" Carmen asked Rogue.

"They broke up. I'm going to text-"

"Hurry, we need to get stuff going faster," She grabbed her phone and dialed Leo's number while Rogue walked out, agitation clearly showing.

They were in the hotel. Vincent was knocked out as everyone else was out doing something.

"Where are you?"

"Aww, are you concerned about me?" Leo asked over the phone.

She rolled her eyes, "Give Nixon the phone." She heard shuffling and 'rude.'

"Hey,"

"Where are you? You happened to have forgotten to tell me."

"What? Leo said he told you,"

"I did not say that," she heard Leo say.

"He just said you and him were going somewhere... Just where are you? You're getting on my nerves,"

"We're in the place Zane told us to be,"

"If he heard you call him that he'd shoot you on the spot," She walked over to the kitchen and started to pour herself a drink.

"Why? He likes me,"

"More like he's putting up with you. Anyways, where is that?"

"He thought Xanthe had run away around here. We haven't seen her since her first task, and he doesn't want her telling all our secrets,"

"Surprised he trusted you to get her. And you never told me where. I mean, it's like almost midnight for god's sake,"

"We're at this weird cottage-looking house. It's really far out,"

"Don't let Leo kill himself. And hurry," She hung up and took a sip of the wine she'd poured out. Kolton walked in and noticed Vincent, still knocked out.

"Why do we have him again?"

"Something for Mr. Lux," Carmen explained.

"What exactly?"
"He doesn't tell me anything. All I know is that he likes Vincent, but Vincent is still in debt,"

"I thought he like...." Kolton swiped his hand across his neck, signifying someone getting their head chopped off, "Killed people in debt. And that he did it in really graphic ways."

"Me too. If he had killed Vincent when he usually kills people, we wouldn't even be here, chasing these people,"

"What made him change his mind?" Kolton sat on an extra chair.

"You'll find that out soon enough," she smirked.

"You and Rogue are so vague sometimes. Also, did he really once have someone killed by poisoning their water with gasoline and bleach?"

"That was their fault. They should've known something was wrong when their water tasted weird, but no, they kept drinking it. That's not even the worst way he's killed someone, either,"

"What... What was the worst?"

"In my opinion, it was when he kidnapped someone who had tried to kill one of his right hand men. He had him tied to a chair for days and then he would have someone skin a little bit more of him every hour. With every piece of skin torn from his body, he had boiling water poured on it. Oh, and I can't forget when they got around his eyes and skinned his eyelids. He died not too long after that one,"
