"...usually major and catastrophic..."

"Um... Thank you for letting me stay, it means a lot," Beatrix told Sylvie as she handed her the clothes that she had let her borrow.

She grabbed them, "No problem. Are you sure you don't want to stay again?"

"Well... I would love to but we're leaving today... So I guess this will be the last time I see you,"

Sylvie smirked, "I guess it is."

Beatrix furrowed her eyebrows, "Why are you smirking?"

"Just zinking about how excited you got when you talked about your favorite paintings,"

Beatrix smiled too, "I-uh. Well, I'm sorry for just leaving so quickly, I wish I could stay longer here but I have to get back home."

Sylvie sighed and placed the clothes down on the counter, "It's alright. Maybe fate will somehow bring us back togezer one day."

Beatrix looked down, "Maybe." Her phone dinged before Sylvie could say anything.

'We're leaving around 10:15am. Gene has been crying nonstop. That's what Lance said plus I can hear him from my room. But, I'll see you then.' It was from Lana.

Beatrix checked the time. 9:40am, "Shit."

"What?"

"We're leaving at 10:15, and I still need to get back to the hotel to pack," She went back to the living room and gathered her stuff. Sylvie followed her.

"Do you need me to take you?" She crossed her arms and leaned on the archway.

Beatrix ran a hand through her hair, "Yes please. Sorry that-"

She stuck her hand out, "Please, stop apologizing, you don't need to. I want to spend time wiz you before you leave."

After Beatrix finished gathering her stuff, she walked up to Sylvie, "I.... I would like to spend time with you too." She smiled slightly.

Sylvie walked closer to her, holding out a hand, "Let's get hopping, my little bunny."

"Thank you so much for everything," Beatrix gave Sylvie a hug.

"You don't need to zank me, I'm glad I was able to help," Sylvie held her head to her chest.

Beatrix didn't say anything after that and just enjoyed her last moments with her. Even though she didn't know Sylvie long, she still let her stay in her home and treated her well. That was all Beatrix had needed in those moments.

Beatrix let go after a little bit, resulting in Sylvie letting go as well, "I'll text you before the plane takes off." Beatrix waved as she walked away.

As Beatrix entered the hotel she took a deep breath, It'll be okay. Just pack your stuff and get Gene. You don't have to speak to him.

She began to walk to their room but got stopped by Greg hugging her.

"I thought you were dead," He gently latched on her arms and pushed her so he could look at her, "You almost gave me a heart attack. You can't just leave like that. I had no idea where you were." He didn't sound angry, but more so sad and anxious.

"I texted you,"

"What if that wasn't you and was Vincent or someone pretending to be you?"

Her eyebrows furrowed, "Wait, Vincent's here?"
