"...could happen everyday."

"Okay," Greg started, "What are we going to do about.... where we live?"

"Uhh..." Mariah scratched her head, "I don't know... I wanna talk about middle names."

"Alrighty, but we do need to figure out the living thing at some point," He threw his arm around her shoulders. They were sitting in the living room. "What're your ideas?"

She laid her head on his shoulder, "Hmm... Umm, OH!" Her head flew up, "Jeremy!"

He chuckled, "Carter Jeremy Jones? Why Jeremy?"

"That was my first dad's name,"

"... Your first dad? Do you mean dad's first name?"

"Have I not told you?" Mariah straightened up.

"Told me what?"

"I grew up in foster care," She said it like it was obvious, "Dumb dumb."

"I may be anything, but I am not a dumb dumb," he protsted, "But no, you never told me that. Then who was the family that you had Mint with?"

"That was with him," she explained, "I wish I could've stayed with him. He was so nice. Mom was a little mean to me, but that was because I was scared of her. She had really white teeth."

"So...how did you end up in foster care?" he asked.

"Well," she started, "My mom was pretty young when she had me. I think like fourteen. Her family made her put me in foster care. She was gonna get me back when she turned eighteen, but apparently she died."

"Oh..."

"Don't be sad. I never really met her. That's why you haven't met my parents. I don't technically have any,"

When he was about to respond, Remington walked up the stairs. He had a long frown and his eyes had been watery.

Greg jumped up and walked to him, "What's wrong?"

Remington looked at Greg, on the urge to break into a sob, "Klausy ran away." Remington had Klausy's sleeve still in his hand and stared at it.

Greg looked at it, "What happened?"

Remington then broke into sobs once again. Greg heard the sounds of shoes running towards them. It was Elian.

"Ya caun't leave va room yet mate. I don't wanna have ta lock it on ya," he told him.

Remington shook his head, "I caun't jus' sit around. I have ta find 'em."

Greg held onto Remington's arms gently, "He'll be fine-"

"Vat's what eve'yone said when Beatrix ran away. But look- She's kidnapped. Vat can happen ta Klausy, too," He took a deep breath, "No, we have ta go- We caun't make va same mistake."

Elian shook his head, "No, Remi. Ya need ta rest, mate."

"Why?" Mariah asked.

Elian ignored her, "Remi, c'mon."

"Wha's va point?"

"Wait. Remington, you may be in luck," Greg said, looking at his phone, "Tommy just told me that they found Klaus on the street."

"'Ey did?" he asked as he leaned in Elian's arms, who was still trying to take him back to his room.

"Yup, but he's acting weird,"
