Today I decided to take all my worries with me to the gym. Even though I'd had a long day on set yesterday, I still wanted to get some work in and go into my own little world.
I'll probably take it easy today. Nothing harsh... besides, I kinda wanna sleep right now. Should sleep all day.
Somewhat reluctantly I dragged myself out of my car and entered the gym. As usual, I found myself a spot to warm up. Threw on some music and got started. I had been lost in my thoughts from the moment I walked through the door.
What even was that yesterday? I felt like my soul almost evaporated being that close to Park. Was Diane right? Did he know? Did he see me? Was I that obvious? His laugh was ....shit, thinking about it makes my body hot. Whoa mama...that's not good. Calm down. Speaking of things that are not good....what the hell was up with that feeling yesterday? I was being watched, I know it, but by who? And why? I know my car attracts a lot of attention ...was it because of that? Maybe I should leave it at home next time. I have a really bad feeling and I don't know why. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary...
My thoughts were interrupted by someone tapping on my shoulders and it frightened me a bit that I forgot my count doing the cable crossovers. I turned my head around and there was Trista. I yanked my headphones off and smiled at her. "Trista, hi!"
"Hi...um, sorry I startled you." She apologized.
"Nah, it's all good. I see you've found me."
"Haha yeah." She said nervously. "I've never been to this gym before so I'm a little nervous."
"Ahhhh there's no need to be. I'll be right here with you." I said giving her the warmest smile I can manage.
"You're the reason I'm nervous." She muttered under her breath barely audible, but I heard it.
"What's that?" I asked pretending I didn't hear.
"Oh, it's nothing. By the way, I didn't get your name at the cafe."
I chuckled softly, "I'm Bina. Nice to ... officially meet you." I stuck my hand out at her. She grabbed it and shook it while laughing.
"Nice to meet you too."
"So what will we be working on today?"
"I want to try out this machine you were using." She said pointing to it.
"Okay sure. Have you done any warm-up exercises as yet?"
"Not yet."
"Alrighty then, let's get you started," I said.
I coached her through some warmup exercises and stretching for a few minutes then we got started on the cable crossovers. She was doing well. Really well at that.
"You know," she said in between reps. "That day at the cafe... I wanted to thank you for the tip...but you ran away so quickly."
"You think I ran away? How cute. No need to thank me." I said smiling.
"Well.... that's the only way... my brain is going to process it. Probably you ran because... I was staring so hard."
I giggled a bit.
"I'm sorry about my behavior... it was a bit out of line. I don't know what came over me...flirting like that." She said continuing the reps.
"Why are you apologizing? You didn't offend me or anything. I thought it was fun."
"I'm still apologizing though." she said slightly pouting.
"Alright, love... I gotcha." I said putting my hands up in defense.
