After signing out from the movie set, I said goodbye to Fae and walked heading to the parking lot where my car was.
God today was insane! I know whenever I tell Diane this she's going to have a heart attack! Imagine I talked to him, got a photo, and got an opportunity to try a part in the movie! I don't know what is happening but I am so happy that the universe is on my side ...
"Or maybe not," I said out loud. When I saw my car it was sitting lopsided and the reason was that the rear tire on the left was flat. I walked over and examined it and sure enough, it had been slashed. "Damn."
I got up and opened the driver's door to put my things inside and that's when I saw it. A Piece of paper stuck under the wipers. Instead of going to look at it right away, I got inside and locked the door and began to take off my shoes and pants, and changed into a pair of shorts I had stashed away in my car. I didn't want to get my dress pants dirty. After I put my flats on I pushed up my sleeves, reached under my seat, grabbed my switchblade, and tucked it in the cup of my bra. I opened the door on alert and scanned the area, but I didn't see anyone suspicious. It was dark anyway and the only people I saw were people going inside their vehicles and leaving who had come from the set.
Reluctantly I reached over and took the paper off the windshield and read it.
God this handwriting is so bad! 'I'm always watching you. Next time you won't be so lucky.'
"That scumbag. He's still here." I crumpled the paper and tucked it in my pocket without thinking. "Why don't you say it to my face, bastard?!" I yelled. Now people are looking at me as if I'm crazy.
If he's here watching me, I have a feeling he's been watching June too. That little shit!
I got out my phone and rang June while going to my trunk to get the spare tire. It took two tries until she picked up. When the phone answered I heard music. "Hey, June."
"Hello sweetie. What's up?" Her voice was as cheerful as ever.
"Hey tell me something. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. What's wrong?"
"Just giving you a heads up, that piece of shit from the bar that time is following me. I have a feeling he's been doing the same to you. So please, be careful, keep your eyes open, and never be alone. If you ever spot him call the police." I told her while yanking the tire out.
"A-alright thanks. Are you alright?" She sounded concerned.
"I'm ok. Seems he cut my tire while I was at work but it's no big deal. I'm changing it now."
"Oh, my God. Girl call the cops."
"Nah it won't do any good. Besides, He'll stick to trivial shit like this. I have a feeling he won't approach me... fucking chicken."
"Alright, as long as you're ok. I'll let the others know so they can keep an eye out. Probably spend the week with my sister too."
"Good good. I gotta go. Take care and be careful."
"You too sweetie." She hung up.
If I ever see that piece of shit I'm gonna kill him for touching Dean. I won't ask any fucking questions.
I took out the tire iron, chocks, and jack and placed them under the chassis to lift the car. Then I proceeded to place the chocks at the front opposite of the flat tire and raise the car so that the tire had ample room off the ground. I took the tire iron and got to work removing the nuts, taking the tire off, and replacing it with the spare. Also had a few people approach me asking if I needed help but I refused as I was too cautious, and no one touched my car.
