"That Gyarados is actually mine." The girl admitted with a guilty expression visible on her features.

The girl's revelation shocked the two trainers. Now it was clear to them why she was having problems in dealing with the Atrocious Pokémon. It wasn't because of similar typing duking out against each other. It was simply the girl holding back to not harm her precious Pokémon.

"The why isn't it listening to your orders and causing a rampage?" Leaf inquired.

"Ladies! Can we focus on calming it down first?" Red yelled to get their attention. He was clearly concerned for Pikachu.

Despite the Electric Mouse holding a type advantage, dragging a long battle with a Gyarados is going to cost well. The more agitated they get, the more dangerous they became and Red wanted to prevent that form happening. Or else the sea serpent will flatten this area easily once her rage reaches at peak.

"We will talk about this later!" Focus returned on the orange-haired girl's eyes while her Starmie floated right in front of her. "Call back your Pokémon and wait for my signal! Does your Pikachu know Thunder?"

"He does!" Red affirmed but there a hint of doubt in his voice. "Though I am not sure of the aim.."

"Leave that to me. I will set the stage for you." The girl assured.

Nodding Red called out to Pikachu who was still engaged in the stalemate. Hearing his trainer's call, the Electric Mouse Pokémon tried to push back the Atrocious Pokémon with all his might but the difference in physical strength was clear as a day. The latter was definitely superior. Irritated at the puny mouse for getting in her, Gyarados let out a deafening roar before using her immense strength to slam down Pikachu on the ground with her tail.

Before the Electric-type could shock her in retaliation, she swiftly moved her tail away from him. A small crater had been formed on the ground where Pikachu lay with bruises over his body. A barrage of sharp leaves rained down upon the Water/Flying-type which annoyed her to no end. To intercept the next wave of leaves from Leaf's Ivysaur, he used Dragon Rage once again to decimate the incoming leaves once and for all.

Meanwhile Red had called out his Spearow amidst the chaos of the battle and he quickly carried Pikachu back to their trainer to regroup for their next attack. Red quickly went ahead and sprayed Potion on his Pokémon's wounds, nursing him back to health.

Suddenly droplets of water could be felt falling from the skies. Everyone present looked up the skies to see dark clouds had collected over them, blocking the sunlight entirely and precipitation had already begin. The speed of rainfall gradually increased.

'Rain? Out of nowhere? Even the forecast--' Leaf's stopped her train of thoughts midway when her blue eyes fell upon Starmie who was facing the skies. It all clicked to her. "Rain Dance."

"The stage is set. Now go for it!" The girl gave out her orders.

Certain powerful moves with terrible accuracy at times require certain conditions to work effectively without any damage to the user's side or nearby surroundings. Thunder is one such move. A move honed by the Electric-types with a very bad accuracy rate. Unless Rain Dance is in effective. At that moment there is no chance of Thunder missing its mark and that's what the orange-haired girl has been aiming for.

It clearly showcased her knowledge and her level-headedness to quickly adapt to situation when the two trainers jumped in the fray.

"You heard it Pikachu!" Red hollered with his Electric Mouse Pokémon back on his feet again. "An all-out Thunder!"

Slamming his steel-coated tail on the ground, Pikachu sprang high up in the air before charging in electricity on the red dots in his cheeks before channeling it to his entire body. Then with a loud battle cry, he let loose a pillar of electric blasts aimed straight at Gyarados. The super-effective attack hit its mark, resulting in the Gyarados yelping out in immense pain. The attack soon subsided with Spearow catching Pikachu once again while the Water/Flying-type fell down on the ground with a thud.
