The portal first appeared over the water.

It took a long, agonizing moment for the gateway between worlds to start to tear its way through the sky. It started as a small black speck but quickly spread outwards, spawning deep red light to make it glow ominously as the rift between the worlds was pulled apart. The Digital World and Earth had been struggling to keep themselves stable as of late, and this was proof of just how little was keeping the worlds from completely crumbling into each other at this point. It hadn't taken any effort for Entropy to create a hole to pass through, bringing Raguelmon and Ordinemon along with him.

Raguelmon jumped off the side of Ordinemon's body to land on the top of a bridge not far from the water. It was impressive just how effortlessly she was able to maneuver, but given the fact that she was little more than a puppet made manifest for Entropy to use as a shield, it shouldn't have been that surprising. All the way, Raguelmon remained perfectly composed, still holding tightly to Entropy to ensure he didn't slip out of her gras. Entropy, for his part, simply stared out over the water, a small frown on his face. The hair of Meiko's body blew in the wind around him, and his eyes continued to glow red as he stared at the massive Digimon that was quickly making her way between the worlds.

Entropy had to admit that he hadn't been expecting it to end that way. He could have never imagined that the Harmonious Ones, the very group that had sealed away Apocalymon so many years ago, would show themselves to him without any care of what they were doing. It was impressive just how quickly they had been defeated once he got down to business with Ordinemon as a fighter. Raguelmon didn't even need to be there, but she had still done more than enough to justify her presence. They had done a fine job of fending off the enemy Digimon.

That is, they had done a great job until the Harmonious Ones decided they were going to attack all at once. That was the same trick that had been used to defeat Apocalymon so long ago, and Entropy refused to be played for a fool by them for a second time. It had already happened once, and he wasn't going to let it happen again. They hadn't realized that they just pushed him to move up with his plans. He wasn't truly running from them. In some ways, that could be said to be true, but Entropy didn't think it had to be.

He felt like this was the best way of handling things, as a matter of fact. He was going to Earth to ensure that there were no other Chosen Children to fight back against him with their Digimon partners. The Digimon that dared to partner themselves with humans were traitors who were pushed too far by Homeostasis, and Entropy despised each and every one of them. The Harmonious Ones were the first of the Digimon to go against the world order that Entropy had looked after for so many years, and he had been disappointed in them as well. In fact, he probably hated them for it most. After all, they hadn't been pushed by Homeostasis to side with the humans. They had simply decided that they wished to spend time with the intruders of the Digital World, and they hadn't cared in the slightest as they went against the natural world that they had been living in all their lives.

It was sickening just how willing they had been to go against everything that they had ever understood, and Entropy detested them for it. He was looking forward to going back to the Digital World to destroy them with every ounce of his strength, but for the time being, he had to focus on defeating the Chosen Children to ensure that they didn't try anything to defeat him. After all, the group of Chosen Children in Odaiba had been able to defeat his past attempts at distracting them, so who knew what they were capable of?

At the end of the day though, did it truly matter what they were able to do? They weren't going to be strong enough to stand up to Entropy, Ordinemon, and Raguelmon. They had gone down after a single hit from Ordinemon, and that was without factoring in Raguelmon as part of the battle. They weren't going to stand a chance no matter what they tried. The best thing they could do was put up an entertaining last fight for Entropy to enjoy just before he destroyed them and every other Chosen Children that had dared to turn the Digimon into traitors against the world they should have loved with everything they had.
