Something was changing.
It was hard to see at first because of how small the shift was, but the longer Taichi looked, the more convinced he was that Raguelmon was changing the way she carried herself. She was still launching herself around Ordinemon's body and putting on a great show of acrobatics to block attacks that were coming in the direction of the massive Digimon, but there was something different about how she was acting. Her movements were becoming a bit slower as the fight dragged on, and every once in a while, she stopped moving entirely to simply stand on Ordinemon's shoulder. Her posture was impossible to read, like she was being pulled apart right down the center.
This was something that the Chosen Children were more than happy to take advantage of as was to be expected, and Zhuqiaomon rained down as many attacks as he could as a way of leading the others to follow suit. It didn't take long for the others to join in. Even those that were locked to the ground did what they could to lash out with everything they had. After a few moments of standing on Ordinemon's shoulder, Raguelmon stumbled from the massive hits that were slamming into the large Digimon that she was balanced on. She threw one arm out to try and steady herself, and when she did, the purple glow that had been surrounding her body ever since she evolved began to dissipate. White trails surrounded her hand, and she took a moment to stare at her fingers in muted shock. For the first time since the fight started, Raguelmon actually seemed to be showing something resembling emotion.
"Is it just me or..." Koushiro began to murmur, his eyes wide as he looked up at Raguelmon.
Yamato nodded. "She's starting to change," he confirmed quietly. "She's breaking free of Entropy's control. I don't know how she's doing it, but it's something that we shouldn't complain about."
"That must mean that Meiko is starting to push back against Entropy again too!" Mimi exclaimed, her eyes wide as she looked up to where Entropy was continuing to stand against the top pole of the bridge. The sun was starting to set, and it backlit Meiko's silhouette perfectly. Entropy was forcing the body he was sharing with Meiko to grab at its head, nails digging into the flesh of their temples with immense force. It was impossible to see the exact expression on his face thanks to the sun blocking out all traces of detail regarding on the body they were sharing, but Taichi could only imagine that they were already fighting against each other with everything they had.
"This is our chance to do as much damage as possible to Ordinemon!" Daisuke shouted as he pointed to the massive Digimon nearby. "Imperialdramon, you know what to do!"
Imperialdramon nodded before rushing in the direction of the large Digimon. He released as many attacks as he could stand at once, following in the lead of the other Digimon scattered around the area. There were so many attacks hitting Ordinemon that she could barely keep herself still under the overwhelming barrage, and she let out a scream that pierced the air.
That was the cue for all the Digimon in the area to pull away as quickly as they possibly could. It was the best way for them to avoid sustaining any unnecessary damage, after all, so the Digimon scattered through the skies. Ordinemon's scream of pain continued to echo through the heavens though, knocking every part of the earth askew. Another earthquake rocked the ground below, evidence of just how much power Ordinemon had before she was even trying to attack deliberately.
As soon as she was finished screaming though, Ordinemon didn't do anything to attack the other Digimon that were continuing to rain down constant damage against her body. At long last, they were finally managing to make some progress. It had taken a long time for them to even come close to reaching this point, but they were still getting away with it and then some. Ordinemon wasn't even bothering to lash out, simply standing there and letting the damage continue to curl in around her. Ordinemon's expression twisted to be a bit more agonized than it had been before, proof of just how much she was hurting whether she acknowledged it openly or not.
