Ordinemon let out a scream that echoed through the skies, and Taichi winced at the sound. He barely managed to resist the urge to cover his ears, but he felt as if his body had been rattled to the core. It was clear as could be what Entropy had done to bring Ordinemon back together, and it was awful. The pieces had come together to show that Entropy wasn't going to be giving up yet, and it was enough to make his stomach churn. He didn't know if there was a way to make Entropy quit, but he was going to hope with everything he had that they would be able to do at least something to force their foe on the ropes.
Imperialdramon swerved out of the way of an initial swing of an attack from Ordinemon, and Omegamon did much the same. Ordinemon's attacks were already much more coordinated than they had been previously, and Taichi felt his eyes go wide. Entropy was in full control of Ordinemon's body now, and he was giving every ounce of energy he had to defeating the Chosen Children before the situation could slip even further out of his control.
"What are we supposed to do now?" Mimi asked, her eyes wide as she looked at Ordinemon. Meanwhile, Ceresmon unleashed a pair of blasts against Ordinemon, but neither attack did much. Ordinemon didn't even flinch, and there were no singe marks left behind from the searing columns of energy. Every attack that would have done damage before when Entropy gave up his control of the massive Digimon was instead doing nothing. The purple barrier of energy that had appeared around Ordinemon's body was strong enough to absorb every blow that had the potential to do damage, and it was clear that Raguelmon wasn't even necessary to keep the ultimate weapon of the Digital World standing anymore. Ordinemon was more than powerful enough on her own, and she had possessed more strength than was natural before. Somehow, the situation had gotten even worse, and Taichi hadn't even thought that to be possible.
"We have to keep fighting," Meiko murmured, pressing one hand against the glass hatch as she looked at Ordinemon. "It's not going to be easy, but we still have to try. I don't know what's going to happen if we fail this battle, so we're just going to have to give it everything we have."
"Entropy finally has a physical form," Ken pointed out. "That means that if we're going to stop Entropy, it's going to be here and now. This is our chance to make sure that he never has the chance to try and destroy any of the worlds ever again."
Taichi nodded his agreement. "He must have started losing his strength as soon as Meiko kicked him out of her body. That means that this was his last chance to try and keep the upper hand in this fight. His merge with Ordinemon was the last thing he could do if he wanted to have any chances of surviving or winning. He's desperate and struggling, and we have to do what we can to use that to our advantage."
"None of our attacks are doing any damage," Jou frowned. "As much as I hate to say it, no matter how hard we hit her, we're not going to be able to do anything right now. Look."
Taichi shifted his attention outside the hatch once again. Olegmon had tossed both of his weapons, and they were left to rotate freely through the air before slamming into Ordinemon's body. Wide cuts were opened along the surface of her body, but the purple aura was quick to cover the injuries. A moment later, the wounds were completely healed, almost as if nothing had happened in the first place. It was incredible just how effortless it was for Ordinemon to get rid of the wounds, and Taichi could do nothing but stare down at her.
"When her power was combined with Entropy, then she gained even more strength," Koushio declared. "Entropy and Homeostasis are only able to share the bodies of those who are compatible with their specific Crests. I suppose Ordinemon would have been made in a way that would capitalize off the original Crest of Darkness that Entropy put together because of what his plan was meant to be."
"With the Crest of Darkness purified for both Meiko and Rasielmon, then that meant he only had one option left," Sora realized under her breath. "He was going to have to take control of her if he wanted to have any chance of winning... And that means that we're going to have to find a way to push through the new power he's found if we want to get rid of him once and for all."
