Chapter Five~Unbelievable Support.

Yet another week passed and I had to refuse to let the kids see Elena, I knew it was cruel of me but I didn't want her wires and her breathing machine and wounds to frighten them, is that really being a bad parent? I don't know. As I pulled up to the hospital, I was astounded by the sight of my fans waiting for me outside. They all smiled at me as I approached them. Most were girls in their kid twenties who have been fans of mine for a while, since I started in fact all them years ago. "Hi." I stated, not knowing what else to say. I haven't been surrounded by this amount of people in a while. A young girl with bright orange hair walked up to me and sympathy filled her eyes. "We heard about Elena and it broke our hearts. We all love her and she's a wonderful inspiration.  You're so strong. We thought we'd show our appreciation, you'll soon see. We'll always be here for you Joe, and your wife, and your children. We love you." She explained. I was taken aback. I pulled her into a hug appreciably. "Thank you all, so much." I said, trying not to cry before making my way to her ward.

"You have thoughtful fans Mr Sugg. You should be proud. It looks beautiful in there." A short, plump nurse, who I recall was named Amy, informed me. I went into the side room and gasped. She was right, it did look beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Many bunches of different coloured and types of flowers sat on the shelves and on her bedside cabinet was hundreds of cards/letters from the fans. Across the window was a handmade banner that read "The Sugglets love you Elena! X" and across the wall opposite her bed was another banner that read "Get well soon beautiful! Xx" I could not believe their kindness. I sat beside Elena and held her hand and opened up her cards and read them to her. "Dearest Elena, you must be strong to go through this dreadful ordeal, please keep fighting, we need you awake because we miss you, a lot. You're an inspiration. Lots of love the sugglets xxx" one read. I beamed. "If only you could see the beauty of what they've done for you Elena, your heart would melt at all these flowers. They've even got pansies and hermiones sweetheart. Your favourites. How thoughtful is that? They truly miss you as much as I do, Elena, it's officially been proven. Remind me to tell you to hug them when you wake up, I hope that'll be soon my love." I told her before kissing her forehead.
