"When will he wake up, Lo?"

Beep!

"Soon Pat. the Nurses healed him up as much as they can." 

Beep! 

beep! 

"Then why isn't he waking up, nerdy wolverine!" 

beep! 

Beep! 

"Because he went through a lot of trauma." 

Beep! 

Beep!! 

"S-Shut that b-beeping up!" 

"VIRGIL!!"  

Virgil groans, because of the light and noise, as he slowly opens his eyes to look at Patton, Logan and Roman. Roman and Patton were sitting at either side of the bed and Logan was standing at the end of the bed. Virgil looks around the room to find he is in the white hospital wing and that all the other beds are empty.  He looked back to his friends as Patton asked "Kiddio, who did this to you?". Virgil froze, eyes widened, as he remembered what happened before he blacked out. His thoughts start to spiral. 'What if they think I'm weak now they know what happens? what if they hate me now? what If they are ang-' 

"Virgil name five things you can see?" 

"w-what?" 

"you're thoughts are figuratively spiraling so name 5 things you can see" 

"P-Patton, R-Roman, y-you, b-bed, floor, d-door" 

"name 4 things you can feel"

"s-shirt, bed, trousers, p-pillow 

"name 3 things you can hear" 

"y-you, beeping, wind" 

"name 2 you can smell" 

"chocolate, honey"

"name 1 thing you can taste" 

"chocolate"

"Are you ok now, kiddo?" Patton asked calmly, making Virgil nod. Patton beamed wildly at that.  "Please tell us who did this to you, Emo Nightmares" Roman asked calmly but Patton did his puppy dog eyes that no one could resist.  Virgil takes a couple of minutes trying to find the urge to say no to Patton's puppy dog eyes but he couldn't. He sighs before mumbling "It was deceit and the Duke …. again".

Everyone was filled with anger, even Patton and Logan. Patton hugs Virgil closely and protectively. Roman stands up with his fists clenched, mumbling something about going to kill a rat and a snake. even though you could see the anger radiating off of Logan, he spoke calmly "Again? so this happened multiple times". Roman and Patton gasp in anger as Virgil nods ever so slightly. Roman was about to storm off to beat up his brother when Virgil grabbed his hand "Please don't.". Roman sighs but nods before sitting back down next to Virgil and holding his hands.  

They all sat (well stood in Logan's case) for couple of minutes before Virgil whispers "i-im sorry". Everyone looked at him shocked and concerned. Patton was the first to speak "What are you sorry for?". Virgil looks down "Sneaking out. I just needed to get away from you guys because you was being to protective and I needed some time alone. it was all getting to much. but I'm sorry for sneaking out. if I didn't sneak out, I wouldn't get hurt and then I wouldn't be worrying you guys" He mumbled making Patton hug him tighter and Roman squeeze his hand. "You don't have to be sorry for that. It's not your fault. we bc are sorry for making you feel like that" Roman said calmly. Virgil nods slightly, not really believing Roman but not wanting to continue the conversation. 

That night, Virgil was released from the hospital wing but he still had to rest and be careful.
