Janus was born on February 3rd 1992 to Lady and Lord Grant. Janus is a pureblood and the last known descendant of Tom Riddle JR's uncle. So of course Janus can speak parseltongue. Janus was born with a birthmark defect that makes half of his face look like it's covered in snake scales. Janus's first case of accidental magic was when Janus was 3. He made his toy snakes come alive and play with him. Remus Royalty became friends with Janus Grant when they were both 5. Janus has always been obsessed with animals. So it's no surprise that when he got two pet snakes when he was 8 (as a present when he learned to speak parseltongue) that he classed them as his children. In the summer after his 11th birthday, Janus received his Hogwarts letter. He was excited to go to Hogwarts to find the chamber of secrets.
