It is now night, the sun had already set. Iroh and Tera walk towards Iroh's apartment that he shares with Zuko.
After the long silence they had made it to the apartment, Iroh knocks on the door and shuffling is heard from inside, the door opens to show Zuko. "Your back already un-... Auntie Ter?" Zuko asks as soon as he sees Tera.
Iroh gestures to Zuko to let them in, which he did. All three of them go in and sit around a table in the kitchen.
Iroh looks Tera in the eyes, "I know I just got you back but, could you please explain". Tera sighs and says "Ok, I'll explain."
"After I left the fire nation, ather Lu Ten's... death... I wandered the earth kingdom, helping wherever I could, with Lion of course. It was quite easy to hide, seeing as I am an earthbender. I helped anyone I could but my travels then led me to the southern watertribe where I met and became friends with the chief whose children I would be godmother to. I then left, went back to the earth kingdom, and wandered the great desert eversince. Questions?"
Zuko and Iroh look at Tera in shock. Zuko looks down, "You know when I saw you in the desert?" Tera nods. "Why did you say that you were mourning your husband when Uncle isn't dead?".
Iroh chimed in, "You were married before?, To who? And how? We have been married since we were teenagers?!"
Tera looked Iroh in the eyes, "My other husband has been dead for along time.", "How long...?" Iroh asks, Tera looks down at the table. "Just under ten thousand year" Iroh and Zuko look at her in shock. She stands up and walks out the door, leaving them in shock.
At the bottom of the stairs Lion stands waiting for her. She pets his head. She lings forward and plants a kiss on his head. Before she pull away she whispers in his ear, "Stay with Zuko, protect him, don't worry about Iroh, he can protect himself, but Ozai will be probably be angry with Zuko when he returns." She pulls away and gives a small smile, Lion nods and nudges Tera. She walks away towards the palace.
