"Alexis! Good morning! Your usual?"

She smiled at Nora at the counter of her favorite coffee shop. She came in every Saturday morning to drink coffee and read in the corner. "Thanks Nora." She motioned to her spot, "I'll be in my regular spot." She saw Nora smile at her as she went to sit down. Alexis liked the coffee shop because it was a smaller, locally owned one. That meant it didn't get as busy so she could sit here for as long as she wanted and not be bothered. She looked up from her book as Nora came over with her normal coffee and blueberry muffin she had every Saturday.

The early morning rush had been passed for a while when she heard the door to the shop open. She looked up to see a tall attractive man in a Boston cap enter the shop. She saw him notice her, giving her a half smile as she looked back down at her book.

Chris had been trying to find a smaller coffee shop that didn't get as busy for him to go to. He hated going to the bigger chains because they got so busy. He looked up when he entered to see a dark haired woman sitting in the back. She looked up from her book she was reading to display dark blue eyes, making him smile at her. He noticed he made her blush as she quickly looked back down at her book and he chuckled to himself.

Once Alexis finished her coffee, she took it back up to the counter with her book. As she was walking back to the table, still reading her book, she ran into someone. She dropped her book and coffee onto the ground, covering the book in coffee. "Fuck." She heard the man she had ran into chuckle.

"I'm really sorry." He watched her crouch to the floor, seeing the book covered in coffee, making him groan. He reached over and grabbed the book, noticing it was one he owned as well.

Alexis looked up to see him crouching down to her, picking up her book as she picked up the cup, "it's fine. I wasn't paying any attention. I was in my book." She sighed as she stood up, accepting the book that was now covered in coffee from him.

"Eckhart Tolle. I have that book." He smiled at her as she handed the book back to her.

She looked up at him, seeing for the first time it was the man that walked in a bit ago. He has light blue eyes and a smile that told her he definitely got into trouble. She smiled, "you do? Trying to help ease my anxiety a bit."

He nodded, "me too. Let me buy you another cup of coffee."

She shook her head, "it's really fine." He didn't respond, just walked towards the counter as she finished cleaning up the spilled coffee on the ground before sitting back in the same booth. He returned a few minutes later with two cups of coffee, sitting across from her as she tried to dry her book with some towels. He took off his hat, setting it next to him in the booth, and placed his phone on the table. She sighed, setting the book to the side as she accepted the coffee, "you didn't have to, but thanks. I'm Alexis by the way."

He smiled, "Chris." He could tell from the look on her face she knew who he was, but was thankful she didn't make a big deal out of it.

She nodded, it dawning on her who he was. She didn't want to draw attention to the fact she knew because she didn't want to embarrass him, or more importantly, embarrass herself. She felt herself blush as she noticed him looking at her. She motioned to the book, "so you've read Stillness Speaks?"

He nodded, "yeah. I have a copy of it at home." He sighed, "I get super anxious, less so here at home in Boston. Are you from Boston?" He could see the sun from the window lighting up her face, displaying a small array of freckles under her eyes down the bridge of her nose.

She nodded, "yeah. I am. From here, Lincoln. I live just down the street. You're from Boston?"

He smiled, "yeah. Sudbury, just down the road. I actually live in Concord."

Alexis shook her head, "I had no idea you were from Boston."

He nodded, "so you know who I am?"

She blushed, "I didn't at first, but yes. I think I was 13 when Not Another Teen Movie came out. I had the biggest crush on you."

He laughed, "had?"

She felt herself blush again as he smirked at her and she looked out the window.

"You blush easy." He leaned back, watching the blush darken at him mentioning it as it covered her face and chest.

She laughed, looking back at him as he leaned back, "I do. I'm sorry."

He smirked again as he shook his head, "no. I like it. So your family live in the area too?"

"My older sister does. Erin. She's an attorney in downtown Boston."

He shook his head, "I'm sorry. I didn't ask what you do."

"It's totally fine. I'm a financial adviser." She leaned towards him, smirking, "what do you do?"

He laughed, "well I pretend for a living. I get to act like I'm tough and wear whipped cream bikini's." He shrugged, "so it isn't so bad."

She laughed as she saw him smile, "doesn't sound so bad. Are you saying you aren't tough in real life?"

He shrugged, "probably not so much, no."

She shook her head, "I don't believe that." She sees she embarrassed him as she pointed to his phone, "is that an iPhone 6?"

He laughed, "yeah. I'm no good at technology." He teased, "is there something wrong with my phone?"

She shrugged, "hey. I'm just surprised it still works."

He nodded, "it very much works."

She was about to say something, but his phone rang, making them both look at it on the table. "Anything wrong?"

He sighed, seeing it was his assistant Josh, "no no. Just didn't realize what time it was. I have to get going. I'm sorry. Do you come here a lot?"

She watched him stand up, putting his hat back on. "Every Saturday."

He smiled, nodding. "Okay. I'm leaving soon for a film festival. I won't be gone long. I hope to see you again. Goodbye Lexi."

She laughed as he walked away, no one called her Lexi. She finished her coffee before getting up to clean up her mess, throwing the coffee stained book away with the coffee cup.
