"What are we doing here Chris?" Chris and Alexis sat in her normal booth at the coffee shop where they met over a year ago.
He shrugged, "this is where we met. And I thought you might want a break from Christmas shopping for some hot cocoa."
She nodded, "I really do. My feet are killing me." She placed her hand on her stomach as she looked down at her swollen ankles, "your kids are killing me."
He laughed, "I know they are. I can't wait to tell everyone what we're having."
She smiled, "me too. Everyone is going to be so excited." She looked up as Nora brought them both hot chocolate, setting a muffin in front of her. "Thanks Nora." She saw Nora wink at her before walking away. She looked down to see a diamond ring on top of the muffin, "Chris! I told you I didn't want one."
He nodded, grabbing it and cleaning it off, "I know. But we did it all backwards. You deserve to have a diamond to go with the band."
She shook her head as he got up, kneeling in front of her. She looked around to see people watching them, "Chris! Get up!"
He laughed, "not until you accept the ring."
"Okay!" She held out her hand for him to place the simple diamond solitaire ring next to the gold band that already inhabited her finger, "I love you so much."
He smiled, "I love you too." He winked at her, sitting back in the booth.
She shook her head, "you're stupid."
He laughed, "stupid in love Lex."
She laughed as she began to eat her muffin.
He leaned towards her on the table, "aren't you glad you chose me?"
"Shut up. It was always you. You know that."

Alexis stood with Chris in front of their families at Christmas while they watched tehm in anticipation. "So, as you guys know, we're having twins. I mean, look at me." She motioned to her stomach as they laughed.
Chris chuckled, kissing her on the cheek, "you look beautiful Lex."
She rolled her eyes, "whatever." She laughed, "anyways. We're having two boys!" She held up the sonograms of the boys, "Steven Ryan and David James!" She laughed as everyone got excited at them having two boys. She turned to Chris, "I can't wait."
He smirked, "I can't wait to have more."
Alexis laughed, "more?! I still have five more months with these guys. One thing at a time love."
Chris nodded, resting his hands on her stomach, "yeah yeah. I know."
