28.

Isis' POV

The big day has finally arrived! This is so hecking nerve wracking for no reason at all. I'm a great performer, it's what I'm good at.

Phew! Breathe Isis! Breathe!

I give my boys a pep talk as we stand behind the stage curtains. I start talking about how proud I am of them and nearly cry, but I literally have to save my tears for after the performance because the curtains are opening now.

We get into place and "Sticker" by NCT starts. I look at Chenle and Hyunjin on either side of me before we start dancing. At first I'm really nervous, but the crowds' reaction lets me know that we're doing well. Eventually, I get lost in the music and everyone seems to too. We're all perfectly coordinated and in sync and before we know it, the music is over.

We start with our second song "Holy Terrain" by FKA twigs featuring Future which gets the crowd even more pumped, and it's honestly just vibes right now. Time sure flies when you're having fun, because we're done and the crowd erupts into applause. I can't wait to see the videos my mom took.

I quickly bow and then head to change into my singing outfit. It's a scarlet red dress that flows down my body and makes me feel like a fairy. Jihyo does my makeup, and I think I look really cute.

I go behind the curtain and find Xiaojun already waiting, looking very handsome in a grey suit with a bowtie to match my dress.

The lights dim and the curtains open. The decor is beautiful. I sit in my designated area and the instrumental for "Get You" starts playing.

As soon as Xiaojun starts singing, the whole crowd is captivated. His voice is so beautiful and he carries the song as if he wrote it himself. Singing love songs is different when you're actually in love, ya know?

I harmonise with him here and there, earning little squeals and whoop whoops from the crowd. My part comes and, I bodied that shit if I do say so myself.

Once Xiao and I are finished, we get a standing ovation and hug each other. My mom is all teary eyed in the crowd.

Whew! Now that that's over, I can go stuff my face with all this boujie food, after I meet everyone's parents of course.

First was Hyunjin's parents who are just such nice people, despite them being the classic CEO parents. His mom asked us if we were all eating well and his dad told us to do well in school.

Jameela's Dad is also really sweet but stern looking. She introduced me to him as her girlfriend which made my heart skip multiple beats. Jameela has her father's eyes and nose and it's literally the most adorable thing when they speak in Arabic to each other. By the looks of it, they're making fun of people's outfits, can't wait til he's my father in law!

Chenle's Aunt looks just like Chenle's mom which means she looks just like Chenle. She hugs me really tight and talks about how she's proud that they found someone like me to date. Something about me being the missing last piece. She's the only parent who knows about us being a quadrouple. She's super cool.

All the parents have really hit it off, including my mom. It's like they've been besties since before we were born and that makes me so happy. They all raised some good kids.

Oddly, my lovers and I are seated at a table with Xiaojun, Aurelia, Jihyo, D'André and Kaia. D'André is tall, dark and handsome and it's very cliché, but he plays basketball.

Kaia is like me. Short and little and cute. Her hair is styled in two puffs that bounce with every movement she makes. She played the piano tonight and I nearly cried.

Everyone starts congratulating each other on their performances. The air was a little awkward between us at first, but the conversation just started flowing and we discovered that we actually have a lot in common with each other.

There was quite a lot of laughter among the group, so that was just the cherry on top of a beautiful night. Don't you just love when everyone gets along?

After some more food, drinks and a little more conversation, the night is over and it's time to say goodbye. I hug my lovers' parents and bid them farewell before going to my own mother.

"You and that girl are dating, aren't you?" She asks and my eyes widen. I simply nod.
"And those two boys... right?" I nod again and she smiles.
"How'd you know?" I ask
"The eyes Chicco! They never lie!" She quotes that movie
"But-" I start
"You love all three of them, and there's nothing wrong with that. I can tell by how you look at them." She says, lifting a huge weight off my shoulders.

She gives me the hugest possible hug and kisses my forehead.
"USE PROTECTION, OKAY?" she says as she gets into her car and I hide my face in shame. Are your parents really your parents if they don't embarass you from time to time?

I stand in the parking lot and watch everyone say goodbye to their parents as well. By total chance I hear Hyunjin's Mom call him an embarrassing nickname that I'll be sure to use later.

Watching everyone interact with their parents just makes my heart full for reasons I myself cannot explain.

Once everyone's parents are gone, we head back into the school together and stop outside mine and Jameela's dorm.

"Goodnight guys!" I say to the boys.
"Goodnight, but we won't be sleeping anytime soon." Hyunjin replies.
"Ya nasty." Jameela chimes in
"It's not even what you're thinking, we have a biology test tomorrow. Did y'all forget?"

Oh Jesus, God me help me. I did not study at all. But Jameela's smart, she'll help me cheat. Right?? They chuckle at my obvious frustration.

"Let's pull an all nighter?" Hyunjin suggests and half of me wants to thank God, but the other half is so tired from singing and dancing.
"I don't mind, but if I get tired I'm going to sleep." Chenle says
"Doesn't that just defeat the purpose of calling it an all nighter?" Jameela asks and he shrugs.
"Fineeeeee." I groan "but I gotta change first."

After I get into some comfortable clothes and make some coffee, we all head into the library.

Ugh, do we really have to?
