I'm a space cowboy
Bet you weren't ready for that
I'm a space cowboy
I'm sure you know where it's at
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

"What are you reading?" Drax asks, suddenly appearing over my shoulder. I jump slightly, turning towards him. He holds a bag of chips in his hand.
"Why are you eating chips? It's like seven in the morning!" I exclaim.
"What are you reading?" He asks again.
"Drax, you can't just sneak up on people like that. It's creepy." I reprimand. "And I'm reading a magazine I found on Godthab Omega."
"It is not in English." He notices.
"I know," I reply, returning to it.
"You cannot read anything but English."
"I know." I say once again, more irritably this time.
"Then why do you read it?"
"For entertainment purposes!" I exclaim.
"Someone's in a bad mood this morning." Rocket notices with a grin.
"I'm not in a bad mood," I grumble, although I am definitely in a bad mood.
"Maybe it's because we've been going in circles for hours and still haven't found the ship." Gamora says.
"Oh come on, we'll find it eventually." Quill says, passing me with a bowl of what seems to be cereal in his hand. He crashes into his seat. "Why are you reading that, anyways?" He asks, mouth full.
I shrug. "It's interesting."
"But you can't read it." He says, and Gamora rolls her eyes.
"Oh, please, Quill, I've seen you read food labels and be more entertained than Y/N is right now." She says, and I giggle.
"Good morning, everyone!" Loki says, entering the cockpit.
"Morning," I reply. Loki looks me over.
"Where is your sticky boyfriend?" He asks, and I laugh.
"'Sticky?'" I repeat.
"With his webs." Loki explains. "Plus, he's always stuck to you. I rarely see the two of you separated."
"He makes a good point," Gamora says.
"Okay," I say. "Whatever you say."
"Where's Thor?" Quill asks. "Not that I care, or anything, but where is he?"
"Still sleeping, I suppose," Loki says carelessly. "He and Val have had quite the reunion." I make a face, as do Rocket and Quill.
"Gross." I mutter.
"They did sex things, didn't they?" Drax says, nodding with a smile. "Good for Thor."
"Jesus, Drax." Rocket mutters.
"I am Groot!" Groot says. Drax laughs to himself. My heart begins to beat faster and I feel goosebumps prick up on my arm. I turn towards the window, eyes wide, looking for something, anything that will explain while I'm feeling this way.
"Hey, Peter." Drax says from behind me, letting me know Peter's entered the room.
"Hey," He replies, and I watch as he moves quickly to me, placing his hands on the glass.
"You feel it too?" I whisper in place of a greeting. I see him nod in the corner of my eye.
"What is it?" He asks.
"I was gonna ask you the same thing." I reply. I scan the galaxy for any signs of anything - a ship, perhaps - but nothing can be seen.
"What's happening?" Quill asks.
"Earthlings are strange." Drax comments.
"The ship!" Peter exclaims, and everyone in the room moves towards the window.
"Holy shit, is that it?" Quill asks, looking at me. I nod.
"That's the one from my vision." I confirm, and Quill moved away from the glass.
"It's go-time, people!" He exclaims. "Y/N, wake everyone up. Rocket, help me land the plane, everyone else suit up."
"No, I don't want to walk into Valkyrie and Thor's sex dungeon!" I exclaim, and Loki laughs.
"I'll get everyone up." He says. "You just get ready."
"Thanks," I say, heading to grab my suit. I enter the room with Peter and the two of us grab our suits, slipping them on over the clothes we're already wearing to save time.
"This is exciting," Peter says with a smile.
"This is nerve wracking," I correct him. He laughs softly and I watch as he checks his web shooters, making sure they're in place.
He grabs his mask from the bed and I grab my goggles and the two of us head back towards the cockpit.
Once everyone's ready, Quill lands in the pilots seat with Rocket by his side.
"How are we getting into this thing?" Rocket asks.
"There's an opening there," Quill says, pointing towards a spot on the ship. "I say we go through, park the ship, and beat these assholes to hell."
"This is just like Star Wars," Peter whispers beside me, giddy with excitement.
"Just what I was thinking." I reply. "It's like you read my mind."
"I can do a lot of things, but mind reading isn't one of them." Peter says, and I laugh under my breath.
"We need a battle plan." Valkyrie says as Quill begins flying us into the ship.
"No, we don't do plans here," Rocket waves it off.
"No plans?" Valkyrie repeats. "That's stupid."
"Very." Mantis says innocently. I watch as Quill lands us safely inside.
"How about we split up?" Thor suggests. "We can break up in groups to find the Skrull and blonde woman."
"Sounds good. We always split up with the Avengers." I agree.
"We'll break into groups of three and one group of two. I'll go with Nebula and Valkyrie; Quill will go with Y/N, and Peter; Drax will go with Rocket and Groot; Thor will go with Loki and Mantis." Gamora instructs, clicking her weapons into place.
"Sounds good," Quill says, standing up from his seat. "We'll let you know if we're near them by screaming, I guess. We don't have enough comms for everyone, so."
"Screaming is an idiotic idea." Nebula mutters.
"Nebula, give Thor your comm." Gamora instructs, and Nebula makes a face.
"Why?" She asks.
"Because, like you said, screaming is stupid." Gamora says calmly. Nebula stares at her sister for a hard moment before handing it over.
"Great!" Loki exclaims. "Let's go."
