Chapter 36-2018-The Fisherman Strikes Again

While Alexis Finn was in LA, California, her 19 year old brother was with his girlfriend, Mandy. 

The two had met in College. 

She had changed him. She was good for him. Mr. and Mrs. Finn liked her. 

Mandy had stopped their son from going back to hacking. She had gotten him a job with the NYPD in Cybercrimes as a consultant a little after his 18th birthday.

The Police had been a little wary of the boy at first wanted to give him a chance to prove himself. 

They were impressed with his findings of a Wanted Online Pedophile (Not the Fisherman) and they were able to arrest the man before anyone could get hurt.

Mandy and Benji were walking when they had been jumped. 

Mandy screamed and tried to fight back, but the man who had came up behind her was stronger. 

The man pulled a gun and held it to her head.

"I will shoot her Finn, if you don't stop fighting" the Thug said

Benji who was trying to throw a man off his back, looked up and stilled.

Mandy. Mandy was pale and shaky.

"Ok" Benji whispered

The thug that was behind the 19 year old pulled the boy to his feet.

"Tie his hands behind his back and to his belt loops" a man from the shadows said

The Thug did as he was told.

"Now tie the extra length of rope from his belt loops to his ankles. Then gag him. Then remove his phone and his shoes. Do the same to his girlfriend" The man demanded.

With in minutes, the two teens were in a van.

A windowless van that had been customized.

The inside had been transformed in to a prison van.

It had two individual cells that were big enough for one prisoner and a guard in each cell.

They had been separated.

Benji was shoved to the back of his cell in the van. 

His guard forced him to his knees.

The guard then placed arm shackles on Benji's arms that he had failed to notice on angles.

"Get on your feet boy!" the guard ordered.

Benji struggled to his feet.

"If you do as we tell you, Mandy Jackson will remain unharmed. Do you understand me boy?" the Guard asked him

Benji nodded.

"Oh and Finn, the Fisherman says hi" the guard said with a sneer and punched the teen in  the gut, causing him to fall to his knees.

Former Detective John Miller had retired in 2009. He was only 34 years old. 

He had only been a Detective for 6 years before he had to call it quits because the job was becoming to much. 

After seeing the bodies of the Demars, he had enough.

Now he was being reinstated at the age of 43. 

A teenager and his girlfriend  had been kidnapped ironically a block from the Park that Lexi Finn and Woodland Demars had been kidnapped from.

Once the newly reinstated Detective reached the crime scene, he could immediately see the resemblance of the Fisherman crime scene from 2005.

Only this time, it was two pair of  shoes and  two cellphones, that was the only evidence.

"Why have I been called back in Frank?" Miller asked

"The Fisherman striked again Miller. This time it was the Finn boy and the Jackson girl"

John Miller heard about Benji from the Finns.

"Why would the Fisherman kidnap a consultant and his girlfriend Mark?"

That was what he asked out loud but what John was really asking was,

"How do you know who was kidnapped, Mark?"

Mark Frank shrugged.

"How would I know man? You are the pro on the Fisherman case."

Miller glared at his one time partner.

There was something not quite right with the man. 

"I'm  going have to do some investigating on my old partner"  Miller thought.

"The Finns barely got over the kidnapping of Lexi. You are going to have to call Benji's parents and Mandy's, Mark." John Miller said as pulled out his own cellphone.

He couldn't help but think that this kidnapping not only had something do with Jones, Thomas, Lexi and Woodland. But also Marcus Xavier.

This kidnapping made by the Fisherman or someone who worked with the Occultist, the first one in 13 years.

However, before he could start on this case, his captain had brought up the missing evidence in the Demars Murder Case. He would need to look into that first.
