Chapter 15: 2018: Back at HI5

While Matt, Woods, and Patrick were at the hospital, life at the studio continued.

Blue base and Orange base ran as normally but Red base was different story as Sam was about to find out.

The office that she shared with Woods and sometimes CJ, was a mess.

She discovered a small puddle of what looked to be red paint. Sam was sure it was something else.

Frightened, Sam voxed Matt.

"Matt, red base, specifically my office, is a mess. There is something red on the floor. When are you coming in?"

She waited for a reply.

Back at the hospital, Matt felt his phone vibrate.

"I thought Quinn took your phone?" Woods asked as Matt pulled out his phone.

Matt smirked.

"The police gave me my phone back after Quinn was arrested" Matt said.

Woods glared and pouted as he watched Matt look at his phone.

"Sam voxed me. Listen guys. Matt my office in Red Base is a mess and there is something red on the floor. When are you coming in?" 

"What do I tell her?"

Pat shrugged.

Woods looked...if Matt had to guess it was as if he was worried about something.

It was Lexi who came up with the answer.

"Matt just tell her what happened yesterday. Tell her that Quinn attacked you and Woods. The Red stuff that is on the floor is just blood. Don't tell her that someone broke in, it will just scare her more. You are not coming in. Tell her about Me. Woods, Pat and I are going to go to the studio"

Matt thought about it.

"What about you Woods? How are your ribs?"

Lexi turned to her friend.

"Woods what happened to your ribs?"

Woods glared at Matt.

"Max"

"Why didn't you fight back?"

"Quinn got the jump on me. Lex my ribs are cracked but they are wrapped" Woods said

Lexi rolled her eyes.

"Pat you drive and Woods we will talk about your ribs in the car" Lexi said

"Ok Lexi"

"Jack you stay here. Pat and Woods car now"
