It was Saturday afternoon when Amanda Fey was finally released from the Hospital.
She had spent 3 days in the hospital due to a head injury.
Matt and Amanda and their 3 year old entered their home on Saturday evening tired and in Matt's case somewhat confused.
So after giving Luna a bath and some dinner, Matt turned to his wife.
"You know more than me Manda. What do you know about Lexi Finn and her ex-boyfriend Marcus? What is it she and Woods are keeping from me?"
Amanda stared at him in surprise. He sounded annoyed and somewhat angry.
In the 5 years that they had been married, not once was he angry with her.
"Lexi Finn and Woodland Demars are childhood friends. She and Marcus dated for awhile but something happened between them and she ended the relationship. Matt, Marcus abused her and it was only thanks to Woods that she wasn't raped by him. As revenge and out of anger, Marcus murdered Woods' parents and then attempted murder Woods. Matt its thanks to Lexi that Woods is even alive."
Amanda was now breathing heavily.
"Why is Marcus not in prison?"
"He was until recently. The murder evidence is missing. Their testimonies were thrown out as being falsified! That's all Lexi told me"
Amanda had tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Is that why Marcus attacked us at the Studio a few days ago?"
Amanda nodded.
Before either of them could say anything else, the door bell rang.
Matt answered the door.
It was Jack Thomas and Patrick Jones.
"Come on in guys"
