Turned out that Marcus's Lawyer was a Detective turned Lawyer.
So when Detective John Miller and Captain Jackson returned to headquarters, John Miller was surprised to see him.
"Aren't you a Lawyer?" Miller asked
"Yea, Marcus's Lawyer, Jim Berkson" Jim said
"Why are you here?" Jackson asked
"You have dirty cops Captain Jackson. Cops who work for the Fisherman. Cops who stole the evidence from that 2009 murder scene"
"Who?"
"Mark Frank, Jill Farson, and Brad Hardy, sir"
"Do you have any proof sir?"
Berkson nodded and handed John a USB
"I found this in Marcus's case file. It is the security footage from 1 month and almost 1 week ago. It shows those three going into the Evidence room and stealing the evidence"
Miller and Jackson looked at each other.
They needed more people.
What started out as just a let out of jail free card followed by a break in, in California.
Turned into a whole big mess.
This actually started 13 years ago, with the Kidnapping of Lexi Finn and Woodland Demars in 2005.
John Miller knew it was time to come clean to his Captain but he couldn't because he had witness Lexi and Woody's Oath of Silence. Then he remembered something else. The Lawyer that the Finn's had hired in 2009 had paled like Lexi and Woody had.
Those two YouTubers knew who the Fisherman was had told no one but their Lawyer!
Everything surrounding the Fisherman came back down to those 4 kids, Jack Thomas, Patrick Jones, Alexis Finn and Woodland Demars.
John Miller looked over at Jim Berkson and asked questions he had been dreading to ask because it would turn everything upside down.
"You know who the Fisherman really is don't you?"
The Lawyer nodded.
"The Evidence is gone forever isn't it?"
Again the Lawyer nodded.
"There goes the only way Marcus goes back to Jail, the easy way"
"Not if we get those 4 back to the Fisherman. The message that he had Benji say, he would tell us everything he knew"
Jim Berkson and Captain Jackson stared at the Detective in shock.
"What aren't you telling me Miller?"
"Back in 2005, Lexi and Woody swore an Oath of Silence. The Casefile from that time is sealed and with out the say so from either of them, it stays that way" Miller said
"Are you saying that we have had the answer to who the Fisherman was since 2005!?"
Miller nodded.
"Get me Lexi Finn and that Demars boy now!"
"Remember Lexi is being taken back to California sir. As for Woodland Demars, that too is a no go. No one has heard from him since Frank Finn sent him to live with his Aunt, sir"
There was a knock on the Captain's door.
"Enter"
"Sir, the Fisherman is on the News, you better come and see this" The Patrol man said
The Captain turned the office tv on.
In surprise the Captain, drop to his chair.
"Benji" Miller whispered.
Benji had hacked again. This time to a local News Station.
