It was a day like any other for Barry Allen. Allen worked as a CSI for the Central City Police Department or as other call it, the CCPD. Every since Barry was a little boy he loved science, but he also went to school to solve the case of his mother. Allen is a great CSI, he's just the one to never be on time.

At the crime scene:
"It's the second bank this month", says Chauncey, Detective Joe West partner.

"Yea, the tellers I.D'd Clyde Mardon", Joe responded.

"What? The Mardon brothers are back, said Chauncey surprised.

As Joe and Chauncey discussing the case, their captain arrives for an update.

What do we got?, says Captain Singh as he arrives on the scene.

"Perps took the bank shot out the cameras, and as a chaser, killed the security guard over there. I've got unit kicking in doors of know associates of the Mardon brothers", Joe respond.

Captain looks around the see if Barry have made it to the crime scene. Then he look down and inhale and exhale and ask the detectives a question to a answers he already knows.

CSI been over it?, asked Singh.

Joe hesitates to answers. "Um...no".

Singh then get annoyed and yells. "WHERE'S ALLEN?".

While they're standing around waiting for Barry, Barry is kinda preoccupied running into people.

"Sorry. Sorry", Barry says he apologize to pedestrians.

"You can't keep covering for him", Singh explains to Joe.

Let's pause. If you don't know, Joe is Barry foster dad. He took care for Barry since his mother murder and since his dad went to jail for his mother murder. They have a special bond and that's why Joe covers for him or protects him. Okay. Play.

Just then Barry finally makes it to the crime but he's stopped by the cops on the scene.

"CSI,CSI coming through", Barry says, showing his badge so they don't stop him.

"If he's not here by now, I'm gonna have to carry on this investigation without him", says Singh.

Allen finally makes it to the scene out of breath.

"Sorry I'm late Captain Singh".

"What was it this time Mr. Allen? You forget to set your alarm clock?", Captain Singh asks.

Barry shakes his head and started to open his mouth to talk.

"Before you answer that, I should remind you the excuse you had last time was car trouble. Want to know why that on was memorable?", Singh asked.

Barry sighs and went to answer, let's just say thank god for Joe. "He was running an errand for me", he says.

Joe then looks at Barry while Barry looks at Joe. Finally understanding, Barry goes through his pockets in his pants, and jackets until he found something. And what he found was a half eaten candy bar.
